Vistied last October and returned last night. The food is just amazing. I started with an artichoke appetizer. It was a large artichoke heart stuffed and with a slow cooked egg on top. Just delicious. It wasn't on the menu but my wife asked if...the truffle rissotto was available. It was and it is made for two. This was some of best rissotto I've ever had; maybe the best. This is a must try place in Vicenza and has a great view of the little bridge over the river (thus the name).More
I passed by this nice small restaurant during the day and decide to come back later. It was 18:45 and there was a couple inside. I opened the door and asked if it was open. The lady said it will open at 7 p.m. I...asked if I could wait inside and the man smile and said "of course". Small and charming, quite "under" the river. Even before opening time, they offered glass of wine and the menu. Food was delicious. Very nice service. I suggest reservation and ask for a table in the área closer to the river.More
We went there late one evening with our girls (16 and 12) after having tried out some other destinations. And happy we were! Small, charming place, nicely decorated and very welcoming! The girls got there own "pasta" since they didn't fancy anything on the menue!!!!!...and they were delighted. Beforehand we ate the self-made "grissini" and other stuff out of the basket which came along with the water. Our dishes were fabulous. Service was veery nice, the location is overlooking the river; Romantic. Tiramisu was super as well.More

The dishes were excellent and very tasty. Both the sardine appetizer and scallops were outstanding, as was the bigoli in duck sauce and the spaghetti with shrimp. Wasn’t crowded so easy to talk. Service relaxed and friendly. Nice spot on the river.
The dinner was great! Best desserts in the world! Higly recommend this place. Local cod was so well done
We made a reservation for this restaurant for dinner in April back in February. The reservation request was sent by email and we received a response from the restaurant the same day confirming the booking. We booked in advance as it was the Sunday evening...prior to Easter and we have found in the past that Italian restaurants can be very busy on a Sunday night especially around Easter time. We also wanted to avoid having to traipse around town finding somewhere. We arrived at the restaurant five minutes early to find only one lady serving an almost full restaurant. We gave her our name and booking time and she looked at the reservations book. After a couple of minutes it became clear she could not find our booking. At this point we showed her the email confirmation. Clearly the restaurant had failed to make a note of our booking. Rather than offering any apology the waitress huffed at us, went across to the one remaining empty table for 4, pulled the 2 tables a few centimetres apart and pointed at us to sit down. She never spoke to us during this time. She huffed again and walked off. We sat there with no menus and no idea what was going on. We waited approximately 10 minutes to see if she would come back with menus and offer us anything to drink. This didn’t happen. She was clearly already over worked and didn’t want to serve us. We walked out after being ignored for 15 minutes and went across the road to another restaurant where we received prompt efficient service. We weren't the only people being ignored and others were looking around wondering what the delay was. We can’t comment about the food but for customer service and operational management this restaurant was a total let down.More
The food was sort of OK, albeit pretty basic. I tried the cod, kids had pasta. I've had much better of both in other places. And you pay for more than what you get so I don't really understand the hype about this place.
The best restaurant in Vicenza for sure I love special seafood baccalà alla Vincentina and vine list was too good 🍷 People so friendly and waiters kind. Highly recommended 🙌🏻 Outside view on the beautiful river and relax atmosphere
