We have know Paolo for seven years and have been visiting the La Proseccheria since our move to Vicenza in 2013. Always visit on my walk home from work for a prosecco or spritz at the end of the day. Also, my son has grown...up visiting La Proseccheria initially with fruity non-alcoholic drinks then prosecco as he became older. Paolo is a great host and we always participate in special evening events of dinner and tastings, especially at the special locations where they are hosted. I must say that this tiny place is a sort of hidden gem, the bar is managed with enthusiasm and lovely attention to customers. Being a tiny structure, spaces between the tables are extremely limited and that must be taken in consideration. They have a...good and serious wine selection for any type of budgets and this is where they are strong and worth the visit. We opted to dine there with a couple of American friends, and the portions (not the quality, that is really good) are really too small, I can understand their focus on good selection , but the cheese tray as well as the cured ham is barely sufficent to one person, not too hungry. They also serve some precooked ( they let make the dishes by another restaurant) dishes, as the boiled meats, but again the serving quantity is barely acceptable, while prices are not that cheap. Still good atmosphere, nice and friendly people, but I would recommend to stop here for a drink, as dining you have better options in townMore

Just in Vicenza for the afternoon and with only an hour to spare I was limited to tasting 3 new grape varieties. Marco was very helpful in finding Durello, Gropello di Breganze and Tai Rosso for me. Very nice furnishings and a good selection of...wines on the shelves - would be very happy to return there.More

I attended the wine food tasting at the Rotonda on the 25th of October. It was hosted by The PROSECCHERIA Enoteca Veneta. It was absolutely amazing. Very well setup and the producer even spoke with me in English, as I am an American. The whole...experience was unbelievable. Absolutely 5 star. We had a drink and later a small meal over there. Good service, great wines and nice meals for correct prices. I understand why my friend often goes for lunch over there.More
