Tempted by everything, we easily decided upon the multiple tasting lunch option. As...the name implies, Dal Pugliese offers traditional dishes from Puglia , each more flavorful than the last. Pork, chicken, ribs, potatoes, purée, soup and sorbet paired with delectable wine! Specializes in the cuisine of Puglia in Southern Italy. Lots of seafood dishes, home made pasta, and meats such as lamb and horse. Terrific attention to detail. We were served a small amuse-bouche to start the meal. This was a mussel served much like an...oyster rockefeller. My son frequents this restaurant since it is near his home. He ordered the Uccelletti appetizer for the table which he says he always has. This was amazing. It looks like shredded wheat stuffed with cheese but has a subtle set of flavors. We all had different main courses - four in total. They were all good. Service was excellent. Nice wine selection. I'd go again and again. It is a little outside of the old part of town in a modern shopping complex. Easy to find on Google Maps.More
