The venue is very nice and welcoming. The Staff is smiling, kind and friendly. The menu is rich, the beer is good BUT the food is tasteless. Let me explain: French fries are just hot and salty, you cannot savor the meat (no fiber or...consistency). The BBQ sauce was pleasantly different than the common one, but the cheesecake is soapy and the ice cream is just whipped milk drowned in whatever flavored syrup you choose (caramel, chocolate or forest fruit). Honestly I was expecting something more genuine, but I guess this is the standardized formula for chain food courts; too bad, I'll only come back for the beer.More
It’s soo good. I’ve been in Germany many times and this is exactly what I use to have there. No differences. I just love the bretzel and the Spaten beer, they match so well together!
It’s a busy place, I do recommend to book a...table if you are going.More

we are so glad to hear we made you feel like like you were back in Germany! Looking foward to see you again very soon. Ein prosit!

Hello Robert R,
we don't agree with you on your definition of our food as "semi-authentic", since our ingredients are imported directly from their place of origin (mostly Sudtirol and Germany). And maybe you should come for dinner, because our selection of food and beers...More
Lowengrube is pretty close to the real deal! It is very good and the environment makes you feel like you are actually in Germany. It is a little pricey, but worth it if you are craving fresh pretzels and delicious beer!
