We were not disappointed, shamefully our Italian is poor but that wasn't a problem, Antonio explained every item on the menu and selected a wine to match our choice. All wines are 15 Euro. The clientele were...all local Italian which tells you something, it is tucked away just off the main road so Google maps comes in handy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.More

You will not be disappointed! Believe all the rave reviews, this place is a foodies dream! Everything is made from scratch and its all delicious. I had the capresse for a starter, my buddy had the croque monsieur. Both fantastic. The capressee literally melted in...your mouth. I picked braised pork cheek and potatoes fried in I think duck fat, not sure, all I know is that they were delicious. Antonio, (the owner) was an awesome host, server, and cook. I definitely recommend putting this restaurant on the top of your list of places to eat while in Vicenza.More

We had diner at this restaurant while we were staying for business in Vicenza at the hotel across the road. The owner Antonio was very friendly and hospitable and explained us the various dishes they had available. He also gave us some good wine advise...to accompany the food. The food itself was perfect, a nice balance of various tastes made from fresh ingredients. As a visitor from abroad, this was one of the better meals I had in Italy. The restaurant can be a bit difficult to find, as it is located just behind a building and not completely visible from the street. Inside is playfully decorated and the place has a very nice atmosphere. We will for sure return on our next business trip in the area.More

We drove past first time and couldn't find it. Being Englishmen of very limited lingo we thought maybe due to the name of this restaurant we'd find an English speaker to help us translate. Antonio did more than help us with the menu, he offered...us great company and we discussed everything from football to politics and beyond. The wild mushrooms were perfect. Tucked away this little gem of a restaurant was a great find. Tasty, Authentic food cooked by the owner who quite clearly is passionate about his food. This night we stayed at the de la Ville-Hotel. For dinner we looked for an alternative to the hotel restaurant. We found it about 150 m away on the other side of the street hidden in a backyard. The Comfort Foot Restaurant present want it's...name promises: very fine food to feel good. We started with an seafood salad and pappas al tomato. Both were very tasty, very fresh and quite a platter full. The seafood salad had a lot of different fish and seafood. The pappas al tomato were accompanied by burrata and an very nice pesto. The antipasti were followed by pasta dishes. Fettucine al ragu di pesche and maccheronni al ragu. Also here we had very fresh and tasty dishes. Pasta was al dente and the salsas juicy and spicy. The "icing on the cake" were the dolci, zuppa inglese; rich layered biscuit cakes, coming with cream and alcohol trademarks. The white wine was served in a bottle and came with a linear pay-per-use (drink) offer. And not to forget the friendly patrone, who made us feel kind of at home. All the best for the future.More
