"When feeling homesick I need a pizza from Laura and her Mum!!" Nice and family service in a great Neapolitan modern environment! Great wine list. Strongly reccomend it.

Service was poor and pizza was average. The staff didnt seem to care about looking after people / tables so diffecult to ask for oil or salt. Staff also had a dog in the restaurant which wasnt great.

This nice restaurant is hidden a little far from the main touristic attractions (about 10 min walking from Piazza Brà), located in a narrow but nice and quiet street. The strong point here is the pizza. I tried one called Capricciosa and it was the best pizza I ever tasted in my life. It is not expensive at all, they... More

They have renovated the location. And the card. You find very well tasking new dishes and the staff is top, as usual!

Went here as we were passing. Have to say it was the best pizza we've had in verona. But more than that, we were persuaded to have dessert... Which was also fantastic. Worth seeking out if you are here, even if it is a little off the trodden path.

My wife and I really enjoyed the pizza and dessert. The best we've had in Verona. Their desserts and dessert wine are also great.

I had gone to Marechiaro last year on the recommendation of a tour guide. It was fantastic so I knew I wanted to go again! I had no idea that about 30 of my students who are traveling with me would also go. They were able to seat all of us in small groups throughout the restaurant and I am... More

Just outside "Verona walls", 2nd right from the clock in Verona's Piazza Bra', lies this pizzeria-trattoria owned by the Apicella family (originally from the Salerno area where they claim pizza was born!) since 48 years, placing Marechiaro among the oldest pizzeria's in Verona. The restaurant is sober (one would probably not stop looking at it from the outside),but the pizza's... More

This place has all the ingredients for a perfect meal: the worst interior, lighting, music, everything... but those kind of places will get you the best food in Italy! And it's true, however, the pizza's are amazing, but the pasta's aren't that good. The bread was from "yesterday" so they gave us a fresh baked pizza bottom instead of bread.... More
