Great menu, great service & wonderful recommendation of their Soave wine to complement the risotto. Worth a visit

Our worst experience in Venice, Tourist trap! Service is a catastrophe. Extremely RUDE waiters. We had to wait for 40mn for pastas with deep freeze lobster! And where told the waiting time was due to the fact the lobster was fresh...takes 6mn to cook a fresh lobster...We got a ridiculous 5 Euros discount...

Fabulous Food nice atmosphere the only thing but it is the same in most Venetian restaurant tables to close together. You feel sardines in a tin. Would definately return

Decided to have dinner in this little restaurant on our last night in Venice. It's very popular so was very busy but we managed to get a table. The service was quick and friendly. We shared an antipasti of baby octopus, potato capers & olive which was delicious. Then we had carbonara and black tagliolini with shrimp and courgette, both... More

The steak can be highly recommended and also the fish soup. Set in a lovely square, easy to find and we even got a table without booking on Valentines evening.

We had lunch here and one of our lasagnas was completely burnt. I told the waiter I didn't want another one as we had to go and catch a flight, and it took a while to cook it in the first place. He said that was fine but when we asked for the bill it was still on it and... More

We arrived to a full restaurant in the pouring rain. Made to feel very welcome with a glass of prosecco whilst we waited 5 minutes for a table. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Loved this place and will visit again

We were glad we reserved as the restaurant was busy all evening. The food was good. The service was exceptional as was the wine recommendation.

We knew this place in October for a fast working lunch because my partner was opening a shop near it. First impression was good, young and friendly staff, first food very good appetizer great in typical Venezia style and main course very good. Great wine selection. After that we went more and more time for CICCHETTO (fast snack in Venezia... More

We stopped in this restaurant for a small bite and a glass of wine on the go. It was quite busy. The bites we had (mainly fishy) were excellent and the wine delicious. On the pricy side.

Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
