Spectacular Venetian restaurant -- excellent seafood and pasta, small, family style, a restaurant for foodies. We have been perhaps 5-6 times and always go when we are in Venice. Reservations are hard to come by, so we went for lunch this time. Quiet and wonderful...More

This small restaurant seats 24 persons and has two seatings. Little wonder those without reservations were turned away. We had one of the best dinners in Venice in this recent trip. The grilled razor clams was so good, and as well the soft shell crab...More

We went to Osteria all Testiere on the recommendation of a chef in the city where we live. It is expensive, the restaurant is extremely small (so do not go without a reservation made several weeks in advance...we watched people get turned away all evening),...More

We felt special from the moment we arrived. The dishes are everthing you expect from an Italian restaurant. Pure and honest, the most wonderful combinations. The owner made us and his other guests feel welcome, almost like family, exceeding all expectations.

This tiny little restaurant that seats around 20 is one to put on your 'to do' list for Venice. The menu is set daily from what they can source at the Rialto fish market. The staff are knowledgeable and attentive without being over the top....More

We had an incredible dinner at this restaurant on one of our last nights in Venice for our honeymoon and it was well worth the reservations we made a couple months in advance. The staff and food were spectacular. A hidden gem in Venice! It's...More

We came here the first night of a five day stay in Venice and truly picked the best restaurant to begin with. Small and unassuming from the outside and with only 25 (?) covers and two sittings please book in advance. We saw several couples...More

We had the best meal in Venice. The food is well seasoned and flavours well balanced - each ingredient stands out, you still can taste the freshness. Service was good too. We ordered razor clams and grill platter for two. Do make reservation early to...More

We were last here on our honeymoon 9yrs ago when it was a quaint, cosy, hole in the wall (literally). There was a stove in the corner and a small menu each day featuring the daily catch. Today, it's definitely gone a little upscale, the...More

This was our third visit to All Testiere and probably the best of the three meals we've had. The shrimp I ordered were large and tasty and my husband was equally pleased with his sole entree. Preparation is always unique and inventive. With the restaurant...More

one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime
neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side
streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals

We visited the square that morning and walked to the restaurant from there. Easy walk. It is a higher end meal, I'm sorry I can't recall exactly. Check their website for cost and current menu. It is a favorite of Meryl... More

Call restaurant but that time won't work. They do two sittings. 6pm and 9.30pm. Suggest the 9.30 so you won't be rushed. Bob

Agree with other posts here, there was enough non-shellfish on the menu to still enjoy. We had some beautiful pasta and fish dishes. Great local wine list as well...this was our best meal in Venice, would go if you can
