First of all this place is not a restaurant, and in terms of snacks and food the choice is somehow limited. However it is well worth visiting this place to sample some of the blends of coffees.

Located on Sestiere Cannaregio, not to far from Venezia Santa Lucia railway station. Coffee lovers will find this unique coffee roastery and coffee shop. Unlike anything else in Venice. Service is prompt, friendly, the coffee selection is impressive, the barista standards exceptional and the price very attractive. Move over old school foamy hot chocolate powdered cappuccinos - and make place... More

We were only in Venice for two days, and went here for two coffees each day they were so delicious! Beautifully smooth and balanced and consistent (between the two of us we had 8 coffees, and they were spot on every time) and the milk was stretched to the perfect temp. A cappuccino here is the same as a flat... More

Very good coffee and they have so many kinds of it. Staff is also knowledgeable and prices are affordable. There is no seating area. Prices are okay.

We found this little gem on a tour and stopped for espresso. They roast and press espresso right before you very eyes. It's a tiny shop, but worth visiting!

Love this place, no seating, just great coffee. There was a queue outside waiting for it to open, always a good sign!!

Staying in Cannaregio

Neighbourhood Profile
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district) with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution, 2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby shops on the Lista di Spagna offer specialties like pastries and coffee that lure Venetians with a down-to-earth attitude. The Ghetto, where the Jewish population was segregated in Cannaregio, has five historic synagogues with an active Jewish community. The Fondamente Nove bustles with foot traffic to the Rialto and San Marco while vaporettos (water taxis) head to Murano and other islands. Side streets lead into quiet picturesque neighbourhoods and palaces like Ca' d'Oro rise directly out of the water.
