Very good coffee and they have so many kinds of it. Staff is also knowledgeable and prices are affordable. There is no seating area. Prices are okay.

We found this little gem on a tour and stopped for espresso. They roast and press espresso right before you very eyes. It's a tiny shop, but worth visiting!

Love this place, no seating, just great coffee. There was a queue outside waiting for it to open, always a good sign!!

Well, well... To be honnest, we went all the way to Torrefazione Cannaregio to taste, from what other tripadvisor members wrote, a nice and delightful coffee. I'm a coffee addict since many many years and I know my coffee taste quiet well. Unfortunately, the coffee we were served in this busy little and not too friendly place, had a lot... More

Near the train station Venezia St.Lucia , this place is worth to visit when you visit Venice . It's a decent coffee place. From the front appearance it might not appealing , yet when you enter the store you can see that this place is the right place to get your espresso . They have various coffee blends , and... More

Ordered Venexian coffee and chocolate croissant. The coffee was amazing and the croissant was nice too. Bought 2 bags of award winning coffee beans.

The real deal- authentic setting, amazing coffee pure and simple. Go to drink and buy coffee. You're unlikely to find better coffee in Venice.

Best cappuccino in town. The place is not to big and you will have to drink your cappuccino while standing, but believe me when I say that you'd definitely come back again in the next morning to get your daily cup. Highly recommended

This place looks and smells wonderful but our coffee was so-so. I know almost all coffees are small here by UK/US standards but in a capaccino it makes a difference if the milk is heated. Here the coffee was lukewarm. Limited pastries, drink at the bar where you ordered, standing up, or ask for takeaway. It was near our hotel... More

Delicious and a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. First attempt found it crowded, so opted to return the following day. Crowded again, but braved our way in and waited a few minutes before placing our order. By the time our choices arrived, the crowd left and we had the counter to ourself. If you are a coffee lover,... More

Staying in Cannaregio

Neighbourhood Profile
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district) with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution, 2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby shops on the Lista di Spagna offer specialties like pastries and coffee that lure Venetians with a down-to-earth attitude. The Ghetto, where the Jewish population was segregated in Cannaregio, has five historic synagogues with an active Jewish community. The Fondamente Nove bustles with foot traffic to the Rialto and San Marco while vaporettos (water taxis) head to Murano and other islands. Side streets lead into quiet picturesque neighbourhoods and palaces like Ca' d'Oro rise directly out of the water.
