Get a guided tour or make use of the headphone tour. Lots of empty rooms with beautiful art and lots of wall cards to read. Can be very tiring. The prison was interesting.

We had a great dinner experience at Club Del Doge. We sat out on the patio, which had a great view of the Grand Canal, especially as the sun was setting. The service was friendly and welcoming, and our server made great recommendations. We got...More

Club del Doge was an amazing experience. The service was spot-on with all staff being friendly and welcoming. The food is equally as good. The best part however is the views. Highly recommended for those wanting somewhere extra special to go. But be aware this...More

This restaurant is just like the shard. You pay for the view not the meal. This meal was ridiculously expensive and the portion sizes were insane! 4 forkfuls of pasta and it was gone. The food was great tasting but not worth the money and...More

The unique location of this restaurant, and the superb service, make the expense worth it. My dish, the Hemingway risotto, was wonderful. My husband's fish was good. But what made the experience wonderful was sitting outside on the Grand Canal at sunset, watching the sky...More

This is a tricky restaurant to review as some aspects were great and other elements just ok. The ambience is great, the team charming and professional and the sea bass baked in a salt crust simply outstanding. However, unfortunately other courses, notably the risotto and...More

Hi - like most restaurants in Italy there are dishes with no meat or fish but I am not sure whether or not it specifically caters to vegetarians and vegans.

Dear Sir/Madam: What is the dress code for summer lunch - i/e. 12:30 pm, third week in August? An acquaintance mentioned the code was significantly much more relaxed (smart casual shorts both men and women), but thought to inquire directly. Are tables available on the terrace with umbrella given the heat and sun at this time, or are guests invited to lunch inside? Planning for a special occasion. Thank you, Habaneros - Spain

Although somebody has asked previously, there was 2 conflicting answers. Could somebody please confirm whether a jacket is compulsory at this restaurant? Don't fancy packing a whole suit for a hot holiday! Aha I was hoping a shirt, trousers and waistcoat would be sufficient? Replies will be greatly appreciated
