Visited QB a few days back after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. Great Food and excellent hosts. They have a huge seating area in the back so it's not take away as someone has posted! Good food reasonable price also! They have a variety of menu so u are not just stuck to kebabs but can also have pasta... More

We stayed very close to Quanto Basta in Venice and often visited this place. Martha is super! She was very warm and kind to us, helped us with the pizzas or the yummy wine, chocolate, vanilla filled rolls! On our last day there, we had reached late and those rolls were over, yet she made us a fresh batch for... More

We went here in search of the Halal kebabs which were really tasty actually but it was just a shame the seating area was not for those ordering kebabs so that would have been good but otherwise this little parade of places to eat is really handy!

On your way from the bus station to center of Venice, this place has many choices such as pepperoni, mushroom pizza. The whole secret of this pizza resides within its crust, simply fabulous! It adds a crunchy feeling under the tooth which is widely pleasurable for only 2.50-3.50€ the place. Do not waste your money in fancy touristic restaurants, as... More

Last month, when the venice carnival was held, my family looked for the place to eat after watching the opening show, and we found this place. We had some pasta, pizza and gelato with glasses of chardonnay, and those were really great. We would definitely recommend to have a dish of aglio olio peperoncino with a glass of chardonnay. (The... It's the cheapest place in Venice. Believe you won't find a place like this. The pizza is way better than the ones you eat in restaurants and you only pay 6 or 7 euros for a pizza for two. The ice cream is also very cheap and so tasty!!! If in Venice, this is a must go place

Quanta Basta was convenient for us because it was close to where we were staying. During our Sta we had pasta, pizza and gelato. The gelato is great and the pizza is good. We always had the pepperoni you could get a whole pizza for 7 euros. The 4 cheese pasta was 10 euros and the gelato depends on the... More

This place serves pizza, kebabs, ice cream crepes and more and is very reasonably priced, with a large slice of pizza for just 2.50 Euro. However, we were looking to order a Nutella crepe which they weren't able to provide for some reason. Apart from this it is a pleasant place to go for a quick something to eat.

Staying in Cannaregio

Neighbourhood Profile
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district) with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution, 2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby shops on the Lista di Spagna offer specialties like pastries and coffee that lure Venetians with a down-to-earth attitude. The Ghetto, where the Jewish population was segregated in Cannaregio, has five historic synagogues with an active Jewish community. The Fondamente Nove bustles with foot traffic to the Rialto and San Marco while vaporettos (water taxis) head to Murano and other islands. Side streets lead into quiet picturesque neighbourhoods and palaces like Ca' d'Oro rise directly out of the water.
