Had the house lasagna with the house wine. Both very nice. Short waiting time and good service......

We were just walking around looking for a local Osteria when we stumbled across Osteria Al Pozzo Roverso. Family owned with great service a well priced menu & wine list. The pasta dishes were all outstanding. Worth a visit when in Venice.

We had dinner at this restaurant during our first night in a Venice. They offered us 4 free aperitifs once we sat down. Dinner was brought out quickly and was of good quality. I would recommend this restaurant to others.

My partner and I came across this place by happenstance - it was one door down from the laundromat, and while we waited for our washing, we had a spritz or two! After seeing a spectacular looking meal arrive at a nearby table, we decided...More

We ate here three times whilst we were in Venice, once for lunch on arrival, and twice for dinner. We requested a special risotto meal for our final night in the City, and the restaurant came up with a meal to remember. I agree this...More

When in Venice you must allow yourself to wander the narrow crazy streets and bridges away from St Marks. The adjacent San Zaccoria neighborhood is a good one. Lots of real venetian merchants driven out by the gucci, armani etc. Here you will find Osteria...More

The restaurant is nice, food is good, not exceptional but good and tasty. However portions are not as big as prices are. The vongole and fruti di mare pastsas are quite good. Beers are 6€!! This was half of our bill ... I think the...More

Castello is the largest of the six sestieri

one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime

From Campos s. Maria Formosa, Castillo, take the exit over the bridge next to Palazzo Malipiero. Into Riga Giuffa. The Osteria is on the right very near the end. Enjoy
