Well run, good menu (thorough but not overwhelming), good wine list, service was on-point. The food, when it arrived, was fantastic. Filled up at 9pm. Locals and tourists. Needs a booking. Not really much atmosphere (inside at least) before 9pm but after, a great place...More

This restaurant is one of the best in Venice and not real expensive. The food is always fresh and tasty and the place has a nice atmosphere. We have been there 3 or 4 times (always in January). Make sure you reserve a place in...More

Our last night in Venice and our best meal, it was so lovely eating in the little square, candle light dining overlooking a small canal. The pasta with tuna and olives was highly rated by my husband and the crepe bundles filled with scallops and...More

Family of 8, this was our first night and only night in Venice and they did not disappoint. We sat at tables in the open courtyard along a small canal. So quiet, peaceful and surrounded by locals, not tourists. I highly recommend eating here and...More

Our hotel was located in this neighborhood and had flagged it as an option. With directions from the hotel we took a leisurely walk along one of the canals in one of the more quiet areas of Venice. It was quite warm and humid out...More

Our guide (Luisella Romeo...seevenice.it) recommended this restaurant as "one of the best in Venice" when we passed by. We're glad she did. Small. Cosy interior, but virtually empty as the weather was great. Like most, we dined on their outside tables in the adjacent square....More

Venice in July is hot and muggy, and we Bostonians were suffering a bit. But we wanted a great meal nonetheless, and this restaurant hit the mark! Food and service were terrific, and we sat inside, enjoying the AC and the people-watching as they strolled...More

Location perfect to where we were staying, outside seating was right in the walk way, very good atmosphere, service and food. Portion size of lamb chops not worth the price, but all other items we ordered were good size.

Nice location in a historic building but the food was not very good. The menu had a strange combination of ingredients such as the stuffed crepes

Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying

bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli

Contact them when you get there. If you go mid week, you should not have any problems. Best yet, ask your hotel staff to reserve for you.
