Went there at about 11:45 on a Monday. Everything around was open. They didn't have a sign up stating when they would be open again. Don't go out of your way for this place like we did.

Great pizza. Crust was think but really crispy when heated up again. Condiments such as garlic powder, chilli flakes and even olive oil are available. The hot wine is value for money too as I saw other joints selling it at more than double the price.

Amazing quality of food with fraction of restaurants' price. Recommend the peperoni and vegetarian with black olive pizza.

It was the second t,me we were in Venice and I couldt remember how many times we had our lunch at Antico Forno. It is 3,5 euro for one big peace of pizza and each of them was delicious and fresh. Strongly recommended.

Bland pizza with crappy toppings. I had to pick 3 lumps of hard stuff out of my salami pizza. Pretty disappointed considering the hype from people about this place - a miss for sure, the local corner store does pizza that's honestly better tasting and much better value.

Couldn't resist going in for a piece of pizza and a drink after walking past and smelling how delicious it was! We had a piece of pizza each and a coke. Very reasonably priced and staff great. You must stop in if you pass!

Fab selection of pizzas with huge servings. €3.50 a slice which is very reasonable in regards to the portions and quality of the toppings. Heaps of options!!

We had tried Antico Forno a few years ago, and when we went back to Venice, had to go again! We found it in an instance (the rain didn't stop us) and found it to be just as nice as before. We tried the margherita, caprese, four cheeses and prosciutto-funghi. All of them just had been baked and were still... More

This little pizza place is perfect for lunch. It came recommended so we thought we would take a walk though the streets of Venice to find it. So glad we did. It was perfect and hit the spot. They have lots of options on the counter ready to go including about 5 vegetarian options. I can't eat cheese so asked... More

Description
The place offers Free WiFi.
Air-conditioning is always on: fresh air to fight the hot Venetian summer days and a nice heat in winter.
All the mixtures rise naturally, in a time lapse from 72 (3 days) to 96 (4 days) hours. Thanks to that, all pizzas and flat breads are light and crunchy.

Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
