Expensive, but excellent food. Salad with tomatoes, mozzarella, and avacado. Fantastic ravioli with beet greens and paremesan. Mixed seafood grill.

We visited here on our last evening of our honeymoon and found the food and service very good. I had a pizza and my wife the sea bass as she’s gluten intolerant. Then she had the panacotta and I had zadaglioni for desert and as...More

We consider ourselves foodies but really struggled to find somewhere great in Venice. Everyone we asked said we should prepare to not have the best pizza/pasta of our lives as we were unlikely to find it. We managed to get this recommendation from a friend...More

This is a lovely little restaurant by a quiet canal. The seats outside face out to the canal which created a nice and romantic atmosphere. The was simple but delicious...tuna tartare, rabbit, spaghetti with clams, turbot roll dishes were all excellent. The house white was...More

We have eaten dinner (and lunch too!) here each time we return to Venice, dating back to 2010. Their penne dishes are alway exceptionally perfect. Their pizzas are great, with a nice thin crust. We shared a branzino (seabass) and it was fantastic. They have...More

The food here is absolutely delicious - top notch. The setting, a campo, by the Giacomo del Orio could hardly be bettered, a delicious old square surrounded by a pretty canal and two ponte with gondolas and boats occasionally drifting through. In the evening you...More

What a bijoux find. We adored the vibe, the church bells, the families doing life in the squares as we walked there. Service could be better but the food is sublime from such a teeny tiny kitchen. In fact my question was where was nonna...More

We were chuffed to find this great restaurant away from all the busy touristy streets. Great food, great wine and great service with the most idyllic of locations - the romantic backdrop of the canal lit up at nighttime is film worthy! Highly recommended.

Santa Croce
Santa Croce gained importance as a sestiere (district)
when Piazzale Roma was created in the 1930s to bring
cars and buses close to the center of Venice.
Constitution Bridge spans the Grand Canal linking
Piazzale Roma to the train station. This area buzzes
with energy from travelers and students. Historic
palaces and former industrial buildings house some
departments of Ca' Foscari and IUAV Architecture

I don't know about peanut oil but while we were there a lady asked about gluten free options & the waitress was most informative so it's safe to explain your situation to the team before you arrive. There's a phone number... More
