Il Refolo is a great little family run restaurant, just off the campo. It`s in a nice spot at the side of the canal, very quiet and tucked away behind the church. The menu isn`t extensive, but the pizza & lasagne are exceptional in both...More

This restaurant is in a pleasant location between the church and a small canal. Sitting outside offers a lively, but relaxing, environment (the place was busy). Our family had a variety of quite different dishes. My wife thought her burger was very good and I...More

We ate at this restaurant on our previous visit to Venice in 2013 but found that our recent experience did not live up to our expectations. Food disappointing and lacking in atmosphere

Our air bnb host recommended this restaurant and we had a lovely meal. The setting is very romantic right on a canal and lovely in the evening. We all enjoyed our meals (pizza for some and spaghetti carbonara for me). The caprese was ok, but...More

The location is very nice. Near a small canal, quiet and comfortable. The food was good but nothing special to visit again. The service was not ok since the waitress seemed like she didn't like the job. It's a bit expensive but it's Venice.

Found this place whilst just wandering about during our last night in Venice. It's not touristy, it's not next to any particularly busy Piazza or anything, (there is a Piazza the other side of the bell tower that towers over the seating area, but it...More

What a find this was for us - we came across this fabulous restaurant in a beautiful location right by a quiet canal overlooked by a church tower. Delicious pasta, we had tagliatelle with clams and a lasagna of veal, we shared a Greek salad....More

Highly recommended. Presentation of the food was superb, delivered quickly and tasted great. Very reasonably priced wine. You have to work to find this place, off the square near St Stae vaporetto stop.

What a lovely find! Quiet location, friendly staff and beautifully presented home cooked lunch. Sit and watch the water traffic go by at a sedate speed...and limoncello on the house!

I don't know about peanut oil but while we were there a lady asked about gluten free options & the waitress was most informative so it's safe to explain your situation to the team before you arrive. There's a phone number... More
