Worst calzone ever, stay away. Bread was burned in the top but not cooked. A small portion of filling with mozzarella, mushrooms from a can and a very salty, bacon looking item, that was supposed to be pancetta. It was covered with cold bland tomato sauce. I told the waiter that that the sauce was cold and he replied, this... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our pizzas from Al Borgo, right by the Basilica di San Antonio. We had the choice of sitting inside or outside --- we chose to sit inside (quieter and cosier). My husband had a mozzarella pizza with artichokes, mushrooms, ham, while I had the buffalo mozzarella pizza with mushrooms & artichokes - VERY YUMMY and satisfying. They were... More

For some reason we found less restaurants open on a Wednesday than a Tuesday. Therefore having walked 10 miles before the evening we did not want to mess about choosing a restaurant to eat at. So we found Al Borgo and had a really good pizza experience. There are not too many options to eat other than pizza but what... More

We were staying at a nearby hotel and returned late from sightseeing. Wanting a quick dinner, we chose Al Borgo. A great surprise with the excellent quality of the food. We each had a fresh salad and shared a pizza with a crisp lager beer (did not recognize the name) recommended by the waiter. Friendly, quick service, no frills dining... More

Stumbled on this Pizzeria by chance while browsing the town of Padova during the day, so we went back for dinner in the evening and were delighted by the quality of the Pizza and the Service. Great Ambiance too. Highly recommend it.

We were in Italy for only two days and just had to have a pizza, as you do. During the day we investigated a couple of restaurants looking for a wood fired oven. Al Borgo has one. We returned in the evening. We were not disappointed. My wife & I both consider that we enjoyed the best pizzas that we... More

We really enjoyed our meals. We went with many if their recommendations which were spot on. We had the chicken salad and tuna salad appetizer, the bread was amazing and the recommended beer (I think Grimbergen) was the smoothest beer I've had. The pizza is a little thicker than what we're used to, in a good way. Wonderful hospitality. And... More

The pizza is a little bit thin, but good, especially the calzone. There are homemade beers to choose from.
