The Paulaner Stube is a typical Austrian restaurant, influenced by a century of Italian cuisine and serving pizzas and pastas as well. We went here for lunch, had a Tyrolean Ravioli and goulasch with breaddumplings. Prices are average, although the Italian habit of charging 'coperto'...More

Something for everyone ate here twice. Once in the evening, and also at lunchtime. Quick service, good food and reasonably priced, that is why it is always packed, but you can reserve a table.

We just dropped in by chance, mainly because they had a table big enough for all of us. We ordered beer and bruchetta to start with and then a main dish. The bruchetta's were not only great tasting, they were gigantic too (if you haven't...More

Good pizzas and service, went with a group in evening and as a couple for lunch. Air condition inside. Seems to be popular with the locals.

This place was recommended to me by a colleague who used to work in Bolzano. I now feel indebted to him. This restaurant is a great place offering typical Tyrolian fare and Paulaner beer (hint: it's in the name). The staff were always helpful and...More

Went to this place for an early dinner after a very tiring journey. I did not find the place very friendly. The food was very average. The pizza was outright horrible, made us think whether we were in Italy. The only good dish was the...More

After walking the streets of the centre, my partner and I were really looking forward for a nice plate of authentic food and a nice glass of local red wine. This place simply ticked all our boxes and we managed to find exactly what we...More

We did the unthinkable. We did not drink alcohol here. However, our early lunch at 11 am was excellent. Thanks to the entire staff ! Please visit the Duomo nearby. Viva Bolzano ! Ciao .

The “Paulaner Stuben” are inaugurated in September 2005, becoming the first restaurant south of the Brenner with the brand of the prestigious munich brewery “Paulaner”. The restaurant is housed in one of the oldest buildings of the city, the residence “Troilo – Troyburg” dating from the thirteen century, and is able to reach both the shopping archades ”Portici – Lauben” and the street “Silbergasse – Via Argentieri”. The three spacious dining rooms ( “Stuben”) are characterized by beautiful vaulted ceilings and friendly wood furniture can accommodate up to 150 people. In the warm season is set up outside a terrace for about seventy guests with tables and chairs reminiscent of the splendid traditional beer gardens in Munich. The choice of menu is much wider. It ranges in fact from the “classics Paulaner”, brewery typical local dishes such as dumplings, shank and grilled meat served in copper pans, till to the base plates of Mediterranean cuisine such as pasta, vegetables, fish and of course delicious pizzas baked in two variants , the classic round pizza and pizza by the meter served on elegant wooden cutting boards ( “Pizza on board”).The culinary concept behind our “BEERHALL” is in fact the daily search of harmony between the style and tradition of the Bavarian restaurants and the quality of the italian cuisine.
