We had the tasting menu and the accompanying wines recommended by the glass (a sparkling Chardonnay, a Barbera d Asti and a Barolo). Both were excellent, service was good. This is a classic long standing restaurant and we would recommend it. The bill was 160 euros for two.

I went in particular for the Piedmontese boiled meat, while my wife, a vegetarian, had an appetizer and a first course (potato gnocchi, beetroot cream, blue cheese fondue, toasted walnuts and parsley oil). Very good boiled meat with generous portions, they asked me several times for a refresher but without success as I was already full; various and tasty sauces... the only one is the green bath, a little too dry and bland for my tastes. My wife's dishes were very successful. Very professional and kind staff. Traditional environment without too many frills...Drank excellent quality wine by the glass. We will definitely return with friends. I'm going to try the mixed fry....

We had lunch as a couple in this restaurant, we were very well received by the waitresses present that day. We chose typical dishes from Piedmont and we were really delighted by the quality and finesse of the cuisine. The products are excellent and very well prepared, the pasta and the starters are really the best we have tasted in Turin.
My partner and I work in catering and the atmosphere in the service and in the kitchen seemed very healthy and pleasant to work in, which is very important to us.
Thanks again to the whole team and thank you for this delicious meal.

It’s a sad story of the deepest ignorance and unprofessionalism.
The basic rule of the hospitality business is very simple: The client is always right.
That means: as soon as you accept anyone as your client ( confirmed booking) you take care of any problems. Not in this restaurant.
After a long journey we were very happy to get a confirmation for the last available table in ‘Tre galline’.
Expecting the great family dinner we came to the place and were welcomed by the nice hostess who took as to the table and provided us with the menu and the wine list. Nice beginning.
But that was the already the end.
Because, suddenly, the personnel realized that they need to ask us about some ‘green code’ to let us stay inside the restaurant. To be absolutely clear: they didn’t inform us about the necessity of such a ‘code’ when they accepted our booking.
Well, the law is the law and we have to follow it. So we asked the hostess to move us to a crowded terrace where, by some reason, people sitting tightly like canned sardines are not spreading the virus and no ‘green code’ is needed. We noticed that it’s 9 o’clock Friday night and there’s practically no chance to find a place in any other restaurant. And as soon as they didn’t inform us about special requirements for ‘inside sitting guests’ normally they have to solve this problem.
No chance. They simply kicked us out. They declared proudly: This is not our problem. They didn’t even try to be polite.
Well, it is a strange times and a strange laws. But in no way it can excuse the unprofessionalism and rudeness.
They say it’s a nice food in ‘Tre galline’. Maybe. I didn’t have a chance to check it. But seeing such a poor understanding of the basics of the hospitality I really doubt that they can keep the standards in food either.

Very simple and traditional place with a retro atmosphere. I had already been there three years ago and it hasn't changed a bit, same furnishings, same dishes, same dishes, same flavor and I even ended up at the same table! I recommend the tasting menu at €60 per person to taste the main dishes of the Piedmontese tradition. Friendly service at the right time.

Those who write negative comments are completely ignorant, or are in bad faith. This historic venue is one of the excellences of our city. The staff is young, competent and trained: the best in the class work here! Traditional cuisine is not contaminated by improvised inventions, but rather is enhanced by a sober and concrete modernity. The raw meat stands out from the usual ones, all the same, that you find in the countryside, due to the quality of the "raw material" and its seasoning, which is a little bolder than expected. The agnolotti ask you to savor them with your eyes closed to dialogue with the roast sauce, which is a sublime cream rather than a sauce. The mixed boiled meat is served with the honor due to it, without ostentation, and is accompanied by traditional Piedmontese sauces and a selection of sauces with various degrees of dynamism, which culminates in a balanced and unexpected Cremona Mostarda. Sweets to tell. Price not excessive if compared to the excellence of the place and the evening, including a Barbaresco chosen from a first-rate list. It is thanks to places like this, true nuclei of truth, that Turin will never stop being loved.

Historic place in the center of Turin, welcoming with exceptional staff. Excellent menu focused on the Piedmontese tradition, at the price of 60 euros it offers an excellent tasting menu consisting of 3 appetizers slightly smaller than the paper, first second course and dessert. The table is not entirely obliged to choose the tasting menu. Very delicate and tasty dishes, particular mention of the agnolotti with 3 roasts, veal with tuna sauce and boiled meat with 7 cuts of meat served with various sauces. Price absolutely in line with quality of service and food. No surcharge applied because it was Easter Sunday

Classic place just outside the most touristy part of Turin. Friendly staff comes and goes. Wine list offers bottles in all price ranges, we choose a pleasant, light Nebbiolo on the recommendation of the company. Beforehand I eat the homemade ravioli with butter and sage: perfectly executed and, in a word, delicious. For the main dish, a delicious veal shank braised in red wine, accompanied by grilled vegetables. After the Tiramisu and coffee to conclude, I can't say anything anymore. Nice place for a romantic dinner or an evening with friends. Reservations recommended on weekends.

Unfortunately this place disappointed us a lot.
We were looking for a place to taste Piedmontese boiled meat.
Very nice place, excellent welcome, but the meat was lukewarm, when you know that not only the meat, but also the dish must be hot.
The taste of the various pieces of meat, nothing exceptional. The only thing worthy were the accompanying sauces.
The plins are decent, the dessert is excellent.
Honestly excessive price.

Last night I went to Tre Galline for a business dinner with a group of colleagues. Unfortunately I had forgotten, when booking, to mention that I am vegetarian. The owner and all the staff, very kind and professional, went out of their way to create a very pleasant vegetarian menu just for me. Compliments .

BEST RESTAURANT IN TURIN
very kind, everything delicious, of incredible quality! It is no coincidence that they received recognition from the Michelin guide!!!! Go and you won't regret it, it's reasonably priced

Very characteristic place, excellent and very kind service, however my tartare was a little oxidised even though it was very fresh and the risotto chosen by my husband had a raw veal sausage on top which was also a little oxidised. For dessert we chose an eggnog with homemade scabs and I would say the eggnog was a delicious work of art. My opinion is aimed at the entire context, excellent service and commitment in choosing the menu. I recommend this place, even if in my circumstances it turned out to be below expectations.

Historic place in the city very close to the Porta Palazzo market.
I took the veal with tuna sauce with sauce without mayonnaise, full-bodied and full in the mouth, tasty and buttery agnolotti with roast sauce and the classic house bunet.
Prices in line with the historicity and quality of the place.

My brother is fond of this restaurant, and goes there everytime he is in Turin; he wanted me to try it, and took me there, with some friends.
And I was very happy he did so!
The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance very cozy and warm, the waiters friendly and professional.
Strongly recommended!!!

Superb food and over-the-top service from Frederika, who really knows how to project professionalism and also talk animatedly with customers. She made the evening great. We also liked our quiet upstairs table.
