We were there as tourists on Christmas eve. Many restaurants were closed, booked or overpriced. We stumbled upon it by chance, it was near our hotel. We enjoyed the meal, the service was very friendly and it is a cozy place. I had veal with roasted potatoes. It was excellent. Prices are reasonable. I would eat there again definitely.

This place was not far from our apartment, and was serving lots of locals so we gave it a go. The food was straightforward and tasty, absolutely nothing to complain about, frill free food. Menu is simple, house wine was good, prices were good and the service was good. It would be very good for a family with children. Our... More

We had about 3 hours to pass while waiting for the train. There were 4 of us, each had a different pizza, 2 cokes for the kids and a half liter of wine @5 euros for the adults. The total was 37 euros. Pizzas average around 6 euros each and they are enormous, beautiful and delicious. There is outside seating... More

It may not offer the atmosphere of a sophisticated restaurant and a very wide menu. But the food is really good - had some local, fresh sausages as entry and rabbit (large portion) as main. Service is ok. Price wise also fair.

I have been visiting at least once a year for the past decade, and can honestly say the pizza I had here is the best I've ever tasted. It was salsiccia (sausage), peppers and tomato and was absolutely huge and seriously delicious. Pizza and a Coca-Cola cost me €10 only! Not bad considering I only picked this restaurant as it... Ghiottus Taberna was recommended by our hotel just around the corner. We weren't expecting much but were pleasantly surprised. My husband had rabbit and I had pasta, both of which were better than what we had eaten at much fancier restaurants. We spoke no Italian and the wait staff spoke little English, but with effort on both sides we were... More

you probably would miss this place as it has no outdoor seating, at least when I was there, just a clap board with the specials in Italian. menu only in Italian, so bring your menu translator, because it is worth it. the waiter did speak some English. had the homemade ravioli and a antipasto platter. 1€ water and 1€ cover....
