We visited at lunchtime and sat down for a quick glass of wine to admire the interior of the café... Very classy with a beautiful chandelier. We had 2 glasses of white wine for 15euros, and these came with 2 small plates of finger food, all delicious... various pastries and sandwiches. Definitely worth a pitstop.

Based in a corner of the pretty Piazza San Carlo, in central Turin. We visited for lunch and found a nice corner table in the outside seating area on a warm spring day. We had mains of veal coteleta and veal steaks, both perfectly cooked and served with tasty side dishes (fried potatoes, courgette etc.). The other food served to... More

Great spot for coffee and aperitivo. The chandelier alone is worth a visit (see photos.) EUR 10 will get you a cocktail and buffet - worth the price! Popular spot.

Hada late lunch here in the early Spring sunshine. A simple pasta dish but so tasty washed down with local wine

In the heart of tourist Turin this place seems to thrive on its location and history, but the products were adequate at best and service was unenthusiastic. If you want to sample a piece of history or rest your legs this is OK, and the chandelier really is spectacular. If you want really good hot chocolate or Bicerin, go elsewhere.

I ate here because it was literally around the corner from my hotel near the train station. I was alone and received wonderful attention from a very helpful waiter. Delightful pasta and delicious swordfish in a Sicilian tomato sauce. Great casual dining atmosphere.

A nice cafe in old style if you want to have a drink or small snacks whilst visiting Turin. A bit expensive.

With its rich history dating back to the Savoias and beautiful decor, Caffe San Carlo tickles your senses already before the food arrives (which might take a short while due to the large number of visitors which rightly visit the place). Once the plate is before you, you can immediately feel the homemade taste of everything ranging from the bread... More

During Slow Food Terra Madre 2016 stopped at this must call in café. Lovely ice cream but of course expensive. Afternoon tea did look delicious so will try next time. Saw the brass bull in the pavement and made a wish.
