A must have while in Milano, it's the pure definition of tasty and breathless for the senses. It's also a good place to see a few VIP's.

In a nice neighborhood in Italy we passed by Osteria del corso. Got it recommended by an italien friend. The restaurant is small and cozy. The staff was not really good in English. We ordered primi & secondi piatti. It was cheap and good. Especially the meat was good. I would recommend it for an italian experience in Milan for... More

The servers are not always the most welcoming and its usually very busy. I will say that there is a lady at the bar that truly goes out of her way to acomodate you... having said that the food is really good. Its very straight forward. They have the milanesse classics like the cottolete and they are really good.

We have eaten here on many occasions but I dined here with my wife and two young children recently on a Friday evening. As always the welcome was warm. When we arrived at about 20.30 the restaurant was only half full but by 21.15 it was full. There are no tourists here and only locals which is always a good... More

A nice meal with a nice ambience. It was really busy for a Monday evening - probably worth booking just to make sure that you get a table. The food was really nice - I had a seafood pasta that was lovely... with large gambas over the top. Very nice. I had Milano Veal afterwards - but had already filled... More

We often dine here when in milano. Very good traditional food and nice choice of wines. For dinner, better to make a reservation.

The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere and is a place to see and be seen also. Then, the food is good and I suggest to share their Cotoletta.

Every time I come back to this Osteria the quality of food, the friendly service, is the same. The family restaurant is just a sample of the best Italian food in Milano. They have a few different dishes in the menu. Difficult to chose. We had the carciofi salad, linguine alle vongoli (the best) and taglata com verdure (wounderful). For... More

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
