It was born with the nice idea to host artists in a public cafe. Initially animated by young italiano, now it is managed by Chinese people: probably it loose a little of the original intention but the quality it is absolutely great and you can have an excellent dinner (with VERY GOOD TIRAMISU included) The current owner is very kind,... If you're near Central Station in the need of a bar at the last-minute, the Art Factory is perfect. You can eat there as well. This Chinese run bar / restaurant is open late. We stopped in at 11 p.m. just for drinks. The prices were slightly high, I paid 9€ for my cocktail.

Getting a bit desperate for food having left it late for a restaurant after a busy day travelling. Saw this place from the roundabout and decided to give it a try. Lucky choice as it was lively with a young and good natured crowd, lovely staff and good food at a very reasonable price.

I was staying at a hotel nearby and googled a spot for Aperitivo and this was the answer. For 9 Euros I got an OK drink and a good selection of nibbles. I must have been early as when I was sitting there they brought out more food. Some of the food that I thought was vegetarian was not...a little... More

We found it on Tripadvisor and gave it a try. Good cocktails with solid amount of alcohol. The aperitivo is rich enough to have a good dinner. The interior is a bit strange and may be improved. There is also free WiFi.

Just stumbled into this place a couple blocks from our hotel. Wish we'd found it on arrival four days ago instead of our last night. Best kept secret of the Milanese is their idea of happy hour - a buffet dinner and drink of choice at most bars, particularly at Art Factory Cafe. Great food (diverse and constantly changing by... Staying in Bicocca

Neighbourhood Profile
Although Bicocca is a peripheral district, many visitors will find it appealing. The district is enveloped by the immense Parco Nord (North Park), one of the largest parks in Europe. Inside is the theater Arcimboldi, one of the most important contemporary theaters where concerts and shows are organized. In the same area, there is the University of Milan Bicocca, whose distinct architecture rivals a movie set. Coffee shops, a multiplex and a shopping center are in the campus, along with the Fondazione Hangar Bicocca, one of the most famous museums of Contemporary Art.
