Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Two nights running we visited this restaurant as one of the nights was our Wedding Anniversary and we liked it so much the night before to return. The good bits:- The food is excellent and we couldn't fault any of it. The Mozzarella Bar concept...and the different Mozzarella's intrigued and has inspired my husband to educate himself further. Equally the menu is inspiring and we wanted to try everything. The decor is cool and as we visited in the midst of the Corona Virus impacting northern Italy and the end of February it was quiet so cannot comment on ambience. That is probably why the staff felt they had to start the cleaning process early and it impacted on both evenings as we felt we had to rush. The not so good bits:- Some staff are downright rude and have the attitude of really not wanting to be there. Had we had the pleasure of one of the female staff the first night instead of the second we most definitely would NOT have returned regardless of how amazing the food was. Coupled with the fact that she actually started to sweep the floor around us whilst we were still eating spoke volumes of her lack of customer service skills. That spoilt our Wedding Anniversary dinner and the reason we give it 3 stars. Whoever is in charge of this branch of the chain ( or perhaps all of them) really needs to give the staff some training in customer service.More

I can't fault the food, nor the speed of service however since stepping in the restaurant it was made clear that we weren't their 'usual' consumer, Insofar as our clothing wasn't suit and tie, however we only visited for lunch thus we assumed our casual...trainers would be okay. It was clear that they didn't want people like us here. That being the waitress didn't seem to want to talk to us really where at other tables she would discuss dishes and the menu. However the food is impeccable, definitely made up for the lack service. I would reccomend, but only if you look like the Italian elite otherwise you will feel like the elephant in the room.More

We went for lunch and the restaurant was not busy when we arrived. Our food took 45min to arrive (one pizza and one salad...). When we asked the waitress/manager why people who arrived later than us were all being served before us she was super...rude. Also we were sitting at the bar and a peeled pumpkin fell on the floor... the person just put it back on the board and cut it for dressing a salad! The food was good though so that’s a shame.More

When we got there there was no table available so we had to sit on some high chairs by the bar for less than 10 minutes, in the meantime we could get some drinks and have a look at the menu. Service was alright, food...was quick and good, the selection on the menu quite fresh and modern, the atmosphere was the same. Would visit again!More

I have tested gran degustazione mozza, foccacia datterini, pomo datterini pesto, pizza buffalo and lasagnetta al pesto. Everything was very delicious with a visual feast. The service was in time with kind stuff. We drank san giovese di romagna as wine, which was sweet and...dry. The check was acceptaple regarding the portion and taste.More

After a very bad experience the night before we chose this restaurant because we had been to other locations of this small chain before (Florence and Rome). We had a very nice dinner here with friendly service.

My husband and I arrived in Milan today very excited to start travelling (and eating our way) through Italy. We found this restaurant and although the reviews were average the pictures looked good so decided to brave it. Let’s break down our experience - Arrive...for our 8pm reservation - ignored until one of the servers pointed us towards an empty table then another server trying to stop us - 8.15pm second rude server brings menus (before that - no water, no nothing) - 8.30pm m same server returns after numerous attempts to get her attention. We order water, drinks and food - 8.45pm no water, no drinks...meanwhile other tables who arrived after us have their drinks and food. I get the attention of the third waitress and ask for our drinks...it’s like I’ve insulted her grandmother. 5mins we finally get our sparkling water and a beer (complicated order I know) and I begin to wonder if our food order has been sent to the kitchen. Fortunately shortly after the only polite waitress delivers our food. The food was actually good but the service and atmosphere was TERRIBLE. During our waiting times we noticed numerous other customers were also ignored or we watched their food go cold on the pass. And get this we were charged 2 euro per person for service...hidden service cost for rubbish service. Not sure what’s happening their but 3 out of 4 waitress were awful...so ruined our experience and our first meal in Italy ☹️More

If you're into over prized food, unfriendly staff and uncooked pasta, this is the place for you. They also add a hidden fee for serving the food, at 2 EUR per person.

This restaurant terrace with an impressive view of The Duomo and Milan skyline. It’s busy and buzzing and the staff are working extremely hard to ensure q quick service , and therefore presumably a rapid turnover for this popular spot. They kindly squeezed us in...without a reservation but consequently we were at the back corner near the kitchen entrance with a limited view. The service felt rushed and they did get our order wrong but rectified it immmediatly and overall I would rate the staff and the service highly. The food was disappointing. The pasta with aubergine pesto was a bit dry and lacking flavour. Some of the pizzas don’t come with cheese so check when you are ordering. Overall I would say this is “fast food” in a great location - if it’s a cool atmosphere and a view your after this ticks the box but if you prefer your dining to be about the food then there are may other better restaurants in Milan to choose from.More
