Milan is a good place for coffee lovers. Than we take a tour of 6 cafes here - Marchesi is a must place to try their mixture and enjoy the beautiful interior. The package design of sweets are beautiful.

Delicious croissants and the best apricot jam and pistachio cream. Expensive but an experience. Service is alright but Milan isn’t known for wonderful service.
10 out of 10. Breakfast, coffee, sweets and everything in between were high quality and flavourful! I loved it so much I returned to all their locations to experience this authentic Italian patisserie. A Fantastic spot for a quick stop, sit down or takeaway. Not...just highly recommend, its a must! Especially for the luxury traveller, this is a luxury treat!More
The standard! Italian breakfast, cappuccino and pastries. A must try. Excellent table service, They also make the best Panettone Milanese.
Great place to relax whilst exploring Milan. Sandwiches, coffee and desserts were great, the Milanese risotto was fantastic. Nice service too.
12€ for a tiny bowl of yogurt with 3 fruits (not even particularly good) and 7.5€ for a small bottle of water. We ordered prosciutto that was just regular ham and our eggs were overcooked. The place might look good, but nothing justifies such prices...and a mediocre quality like that.More
You really should try the treccia alla fruta fresca. It's so delicious! This is a traditional café right in the middle of quadrilattero della moda. If you are around, do stop for a coffee. Very kind attendants.
Located in the heart of the upscale shopping street, Marchesi 1824 only has small window front to the street, almost easy to miss. Once inside one can find a standing area to have a quick bite or coffee, further inside are tables for dining. During...rush hour hard to get a table, we had to wait a while. Service is a bit rushed, not as friendly as could be, but nice nevertheless. Pastries and coffee very good. In a way one can get a quintessential Italian cafe experience at Marchesi 1824.More
Located in the heart of the 'Golden Triangle'. Great location for a rest with coffee and pastry. Luxurious decoration and great service. We found the taste of the coffee and chocolate pasty & bonbons ok, but not worth the money.
We went to Marchesi 1824 on the Via Napoleone and also in the Galleria 3 times. Loved it. Great coffee, food and very friendly waiters. When I complained about Cova to Milanese friends, where I used to go with my mother in the 50s' and...60s' they suggested we go to Marchese instead. We loved it.Great atmosphere. Apparently they also have the best panetone.More
Could be easy to miss the door to this gem but the fabulous cakes and lollies in the window give it away. Great for nice pastry’s, coffee is ok and has various menu options for breakfast, lunch and snacks for dinner. Service is good.
Stopped here for lunch after visiting the Duomo. Ordered a caprese salad which was absolutely wonderful and then tried the Mother’s Day cake which was filled with pistachio, strawberry and cream and absolutely divine! The espresso was creamy and smooth and the best I had...during my entire visit. Excellent, attentive service. Would love to go back!More
We were at the one in Galleria and having coffee and pastry around 8.30 pm one friend later joined us around 8.50 pm and ordered a glass of Prosecco without knowing that the cafe will be close at 9 pm. at 8.55 pm the staff...place bill on the table and said he will be closing at 9 pm We walk to the cashier to pay and return to the table as we haven't finish our drinks yet. the staff came back at 9 pm sharp standing and ask us to leave. the table next to us is still full of used cutlery from the previous customer and the pastry case still need to be clean. instead of doing other things this place prefer to kick us out at 9 pm sharp without informing us that it will be close in 10 mins when ordering. Awesome Italian service!More
