Sadler is a 2 Michelin star restaurant which, despite the illustrious name of the streets, sit in an ugly area of Milan quite off the beaten track. The "creative" tasting menu is what my guest and I had, and each course was a work of art. However, there was simply not much food. The purpose, I think, was to experience... More

Excellent food even though I am not a fan of fine dining. I was recommend there and it was a very nice atmosphere. I recommend the private table for 2 or 4 which is very nice for a romantic and quiet diner. Service was outstanding with great staff.

excellent food, always creative, not relying on few flagship dishes, perfectly professional and courteous service, elegant location definitely worth the price

It was a birthday dinner for my sister. We were 4 of us and had the tasting menu with meat and fish. The price was reasonable €160 for dinner. The atmosphere in the restaurant was too dark. I was disappointed that the food is not as good as I expected it to be.. 2 Michelin stars! The food presentation was... More

If this was our first time we would probably be very impressed. However having frequented Sadler a number of times, unfortunately our most recent visit was disappointing. We felt it had lost its 'wow factor'. Dishes were more simple than they used to be and the service lacking what you would expect from a Michelin restaurant. We were given Asparagus... More

Good cuisine but far away from two Michelin stars. Elaborate dishes but not prepared to inspire. This leads a nice but grossly overpaid dinner experience. Best part of the dinner was the wine thanks to an exceptional sommelier.

Sadler is a landmark in Milanese cuisine. The two Michelin stars confirm the vocation to haute cuisine and the continuous desire to experiment. The creative menu is simply fantastic: baby squids filled with cod, crunchy chick peas fritters and sour broccoli, ravioli filled with trevisan salad and taleggio cheese, slightly sour goat milk and toasted hazelnut powder, grilled artichokes and... food was of good quality but not at all extraordinary. The interieur and the way the food is presented is rather démodé. I do not see the 2 star compared to Trussardi, Vun and many others in Milan.

We were three eating lunch not at the restaurant with the two stars but at the bistro next door. The kitchen crew is the same. I ordered risotto with Lime and tuna bottarga. I was over the moon when it came. The risotto was al dente, the perfume of lime was delicate but hit the spot. The shaved bottarga on... More

"Normal" restaurants are allowed to have bad evenings. Two-star restaurants are not. And probably Sunday February 14 for Sadler was one of those. The "amuse-gueule" offered at the evening's start were dominated by boring shades of green and boring taste. My monkfish was surrounded by vegetables treated in the molecular cuisine style which were equally light in weight and taste.... More

Description
This finely furnished restaurant now is divided into four smaller intimate spaces with an elegant and modern atmosphere, ideal for romantic dinners as well as for business lunches; one of these, with a direct view onto the wonderful kitchen area, is separated from the others, thus offering maximum privacy for 6 to 12 guests.
