This was up till November 2016 one of the only real characteristic traditional trattorias in the area and many, like me, kept coming back week after week. One guy aranged and agreement with the owner and he came here every night instead of cooking at home! This was a gem. NOW the place has been taken over by new management... More

Great traditional relaxed restaurant with delicious food! We enjoyed all three courses but our favourite dish was the Milanese risotto - yum! The waiter was quietly considerate and attentive in his service. We loved this place and will visit again if we go back to Milan

Wonderful authentic Italian (actually Milanese) food, the freshest ingredients and made with love. We really enjoyed our meal and experience here. (Architecturally, what an amazing building too... anyone go to the toilets?)

food is good by all means. it is a neighbourhood establishment frequented by locals. despite serving tasty local cuisine, the service is sometimes below average.

Fully booked. Lots of locals which is a good sign normally. Food mediocre and service equally. Wine menu way under standard. Almost only the house wine available. But sufficient for a quick meal when you cannot be bothered to go searching faraway for a meal.

In a typicall Italian restaurant. Locals are here treated as "family" and that is fine. The restaurant has a mix of guests : toerists and locals. The restaurant itself is oldfashioned for European travellers but it is charming. Typical. The food is really fantastic. Great seasoning. The fresh pasta is super. The steak is so soft that it's melting in... More

We first went because the restaurant was right across the street from our hotel in Milan, but went back again because the food was so good. They had a white penne arrabiata that I'd never seen before, and it was excellent. I also had the best spaghetti alle vongole that I had during a month in Italy. The wines were... More

During a Recent trip to Milan, my wife and I visited this restaurant for dinner one evening. We got there early and were seated right away. We had some freshly baked breads to start with and I had a Seafood Spaghetti and My wife had the Scampi . Both were beautiful. We had a bottle of the House Red wine... More

This restaurant was just outside the door of my hotel (Hotel Sanpi), what good fortune! Two nights, Monday and Tuesday, we truly enjoyed being treated like friends and regulars by our fabulous waiter Simone! The food matched the service. Trattoria home style dishes. Large fresh salads. Plus a little surprise from Simone. Clearly a favorite spot for locals as it... More
