Our meal was arranged through enthusiastic relatives of relatives and it was touted as a gourmet experience. The service was average, but as they were fairly empty I suspect that it would not scale successfully to when it is full, if only because the waiter...More

I love the fact that you would NEVER enter the place if you didnt't know it. Once you go down the stairs, it's a little piece of milanese heaven. The food itself is great, the atmoshpere is very special and I have always had a...More

First of all you have to know the restaurant, otherwise you won't go in. The restaurant acually looks really nice and the water makes a romantic atmosphere - but take some moscito spray with you. The restaurant was a recommendation from friends so we gave...More

The entrance to the restaurant seems special as it looks like a pub of sort. But once you're seated inside near the little fountain, the place starts showing it's appeal. The food was good but not extraordinary.

The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient
days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar
to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the
Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are
two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande.
The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk
with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes
in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns

Natural cooking with fish and meat always fresh and then...not allow yourselves to be cheated by the name of the place, cooking is Italian, not only from Tuscany, and it includes starters of Italian cold cuts, refined home-made desserts and cakes, a wide selection of main courses of the best Italian culinary traditions and savory and original Mediterranean second courses. In addition you can taste the famous milanese happy hour; Trattoria is one of the first places where Milanese happy hour was born.
