We booked the menu and had the most wonderful meal! Each dish was exquisite and the taste is remarkable. Best experience ever in a Michelin restaurant

Our return visit to Ristorante Acanto after two years was on the whole a good experience although, for some reason, one dish was very disappointing. It is a lovely restaurant in the Hotel Principe di Savoia with good service and a nice atmosphere. A first...course of risotto with white truffles and tagliolini with white truffles (seasonal) were delicious. For second courses, we chose the John Dory and pigeon. The pigeon was very good, but the John Dory was disappointing, somewhat tough and tasteless, most probably overcooked. This seemed to be out of character for this restaurant. We should have pointed this out at the time. Accompanied by a nice bottle of Nebbiolo Langhe. Except for the John Dory, the food, wine and service were very good, as we had remembered from a previous visit.More

The service is phenomenal. They made me feel very welcome and the staff is very respectable and polite. I had the spaghetti octopus dish, which was a recommendation from a friend of mine who stayed in the hotel a week before me. This dish is...so good, it’s out of this world. I ended up eating it three times in two days in the time I spent in Milan. The staff ensured me that this dish will be here by the time I next come back, I will be looking forward for that day. I highly recommend to everyone.More

The wine Menü is worth a vistit. From all Italian provinces some spectacular wines. Zibiddo from Pantelleria, Friuliano from Collio, Great Choice from franciacorta. Food is ok

Service is just what you should expect on this type of place, atmosphere is elegant and food doesn't really surprise you. It's exactly as good as it ahould be from fresh ingredients, but is doesn't necessarily give you those moments you are longing for. Wines...well paired if menu, otherwise wine list is also build to be very safe, with the wines which prices doesn't make you argue with sommelier. Reservation somehow complicated. We were forced to book a menu which we didn't got in the end. Place is good when you have to convince your coming father in law that you are respectful person, but not necessarily the one from where you want to gather new experiences.More

Really fabulous dinner in Milan. We sat outside in a beautiful little courtyard dining area with a fountain and had the tasting menu with wine pairing (€120 per person). The food was really well executed, the service was excellent and the sommelier was really friendly...and spoke really good English, which added a lot as he was able to have an engaging conversation with us about the wine selections. The only fault I could possibly find with this restaurant is that when we were given the menus, mine had no prices whereas my husband saw the full cost of each dish. Is it 2019 or 1950?!? However, overall I would highly recommend.More

We had a wonderful dinner on the first night of our arrival. Starters were Foie Gras and Green Asparagus (similar to a soup) – both were outstanding and looked beautiful. Next course was Spaghettone Quadrato “De Cecco” Aglio and Risotto Frutti di Mare – both...were excellent. Main course was Agnello in Crosta and Vitello – again perfect and so tender. Dessert was the dessert plate – small portions of all the desserts. Overall, it was an outstanding dinner on our wedding anniversary. The service was very attentive and professional, and the ambiance was very high-end Milano. It was expensive and worth it.More

My wife and I were staying at Principe di Savoia - the Hotel where this restaurant is located. We went there twice during our stay for dinner, and every morning for breakfast. It is beautifully decorated, and has an excellent terrace. The food is very...good. I would especially recommend the scallops and the ravioli. But above all the service is outstanding. The staff is very friendly, warm and hospitable - they go out of their way to make it a great experience. During the two dinners, the sommeliers were different and they recommended excellent wines aligned to our preferences. The greeting and welcome was warm and unpretentious. We were given good tables - both, for breakfast as well as dinners. They fulfilled all our requests with a smile. I recommend the restaurant highly for a great experience, and warm, friendly service and staff.More

Don’t miss this place. We shared their house specialty pasta with octopus and monkfish and veal. Just perfect. Service better than Manhattan or San Francisco.
