As a vegetarian who avoids most dairy and just got diagnosed with a gluten allergy, Milan has been hard on my belly. After 4 days of more cheese than I have eaten in the past year, and tons of pasta, bread and woefully overcooked vegetables, I was desperate for true vegetarian food. Mudra is a bit off the beaten path,... More

This restaurant, which share it rooms with a ballroom (tango nights or other events), is in a quiet area just outside the centre of Milan near the Naviglio Grande. The space has been converted from what probably was a former warehouse or factory, and is surrounded by greenery and trees, that's why it could be a bit tricky to find.... More

Food is nice, and always thought from an healthy prospective. It's not fine cuisine, but it's a nice night out. Few dishes are really good though. New position a little difficult to reach.

We were really looking forward to this meal but it was unfortunately a bit of a let down. Friendly staff, nice place allthough difficult to find. The food quite bland and dull, service kind of slow.

A dedicated vegan restaurant, owned & run by people who are obviously passionate about veganism & high quality, organic food. The menu is innovative & well thought out, providing a balanced & tasty selection of dishes. Tempeh in Milano was an unexpected treat. The beer & wine list is also totally organic & vegan. Well worth seeking out.

An amazing vegan restaurant with great cozy atmosphere. The place has a sparkle that makes you come back for more deliciousness. Fresh food, juices and no sugar added desserts!

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
