The food is always very good. However, the owners are not willing to facilitate the payment method to the clients. The atmosphere is nice, but the ownwers, especially the woman, could be nicer.

If you are close to Naviglio Granda you have to visit this authentical restaurant! Homemade cookies, owners servicing their guests, every day new soup of the day, homemade cakes, pasta, etc.

We stumbled across this restaurant when roaming the Navigli neighborhood and it was a pleasant surprise. The server was nice and although they didn't have an English menu he helped point out options on the menu that were vegetarian or could be made vegetarian. I had some really great pasta stuffed with saffron and my husband enjoyed his sausage risotto.... More

We found this restaurant in the beautiful navigli neighborhood but it couldn't be more disappointing. We ask for tagliatelle and they served us in 5 minutes, faster than McDonald's burgers! Can u imagine that? Obviously the food was cold and I asked the owner if he can heat a bit more. Surprisingly, the owner argue at me saying that we... More

I found Al Capolinea as I was looking for a different restaurant recommended by my hotel. At the end of a week-long business trip, and after a full day of skiing, I was tired and was looking for a quick bowl of risotto with a nice glass of wine. And that's just what I found! The restaurant was empty...at 8:30... More

My friend and i went there for coffee. At first it was good. He offered us their desserts and biscuits which I think is like a common thing. So my friend ordered tiramisu and I said solo coffee only. However, i do not know if it was just a misunderstanding but the man gave us panini despite our saying no,... More

Our party enjoyed 2 different risotto dishes and a deliciously juicy Veal Milanese. The restaurant itself has a large communal table and smaller tables that, combined with friendly service, made for a comfortably casual experience.

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
