Walked in to escape the rain for a coffee and ended up staying and indulging in the free wifi and delightful pastries. Definitely recommend! Not too pricey either for Milan!

The place is in theory perfect for a sweet break. Dessert are attractive, even if just average, nothing special about them; considering the target, the menu list for deserts is also too short. Prices are too high in relation with quality and service level (self-service). Also, the place is too hot even if not crowded.

The coffee is nice and this place has a good atmosphere, but unfortunately staff attitude let it down !! very interesting that they have a whole new air conditioning system, but they don't use it! (even if you kindly ask!) so yeah, I'm burning up in here and I'm not gonna come to this cafe again.

I went there twice, once for breakfast, one for the coffee! Both were very good experience! If you don't know what to choose, try their brioches!

Decent cappuccinos but tasteless “out-of-the-can” tuna salad. Arrive around 2PM to a crowded café. While waiting to order, I noticed many people ordering salads. So, doing “when in Rome…”, I ordered a tuna salad along with 2 cappuccinos. Bad mistake. €7 for bland “out-of-the-can” tuna salad (see photo) which took over 15 minutes to come out. Cappuccino was €1.40 and... More

It's a great place for cheap and tasty coffe. Prizes are very good (1.2eur for cappucino), personel is very kind, atmosphere is amazing. You should totally go there!

Absolutely, gorgeously amazing! The sheer amount of chocolate you can have there is overwhelming: hot chocolate with cream in a cup with a chocolate dipped rim, the spoon's half dipped in chocolate and the fork for your chocolate cake is - yes, indeed - half dipped in chocolate, too! It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth the treat!

It is a nice small caffe with tasty coffee and cakes. We tried the aromatizzato and it was great. It is served with chocolate dipped spoons and cups.

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
