Great restaurant that we had been to years before, kept its standards high! We had spaghetti with clams and spicy sausage from Calabria, and the biggest veal chop imaginable. Bursting with flavor. Great and friendly service. Can’t wait to go back. Reservations a must.

What a wonderful meal we had on our last night in Milan! Those fried dumplings (more like small fried dough bread) were served piping hot and was most welcoming on a cold night. The spaghetti prepared in the cheese wheel was a great conclusion to...our trip; ribeye steak (600g) was very value for money; saffron risotto with veal was comforting. Desserts were so good too - try the tiramisu and do the DIY cannolis (we had fun stuffing it). And usually the cannolis are 3 pieces but they gave us an extra as there were 4 of us… small touches goes a long way! Very professionally run, efficient but at times cold… but there was one wait staff who was very friendly and he made the world of difference! Have more of that… such great food should be served with more fun and warmth!More

We had 2 nites in Milan after 25 days of cruising in Europe. We were stayiing n Hotel Mentana. So happen that my husband and I really feel like to enjoy dining in a local italian trattoria. After searching the best place just around our...hotel, I found Nerino Dieci Trattoria with very good rating. Our dinner was indeed fantastic 😋 . We trully enjoyed our entree, that is mussells, main was linguine with lobster (mine) and calamari (my husband's). The grilled calamari was cooked to perfection. We had 3 samplers of tiramasu (yummy). I am not a wine drinker but I had a glass of their house red and I enjoyed it! Thank you for a wonderful dinner and delightful service.More

We heard about this restaurant from a local, who recommended it as true Lombardian food at fair prices (especially for the area). It was such a great recommendation! Out of the Duomo crowds and on a quiet street, we waited for the door to open....We were the first of many people in line outside their stoop (we were eager to get their early since we didn’t have reservations). Thankfully, they were able to fit us in before a reserved seating later in the evening. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful! With their help, we ordered three amazing dishes that we shared; two of which were assembled table side. What a treat! Fantastic experience and excellent flavors!More

Very lively atmosphere with a lot of Italian business people at week day lunch. The escalope milanese was delicious as were the bucanti pasta with cheese. Friendly service at the right pace.

Just wow. At first I was a bit worried because the hostess seemed a little stern and we came with kids, but all the wait staff was super friendly and welcoming in the best Italian way. The food here was outrageously delicious. There were eight...of us, 5 adults and three kids. We had the tagliatelle vongole (clams), the dumplings with the most delicious salumli on top, the gazpacho, the fancy t-bone, tuna and salmon tartare, and the waiter recommended a tasty Italian red that was interesting, but also reasonably-priced. Isn’t it nice to find recommendations from folks who are trying to show you great food and drink, instead of take advantage of a tourist? THANK YOU. The bucatini was also delicious, as were all the sides- although I might skip the potatoes. They were very good, but not excellent- slightly too oily. There are so many awesome restaurants to try in Milano, it’s almost crazy to go to the same place twice. But when I come back, I might just come to Nerino Dieci again. It was a memorable experience, don’t miss it!More

The four of us enjoyed a delightful meal and friendly, professional service at Nerino. We all chose seafood: pasta with lobster, tuna encrusted in pistachio, octopus, and seabass. Sides of salad and grilled vegetables for the table, house red, and limoncello rounded out the dinner....We all rapturously praised it, except the seabass eater, who said it needed seasoning. Altogether a blissful eat.More

Service was beyond all expectations. My companion ordered a pasta dish. The sauce was not what he expected. They offered another item on the menu and prepared it absolutely to perfection (and we were not charged for this entree). All employees went out of their...way to make sure we felt satisfied, even offering free after-dinner drinks. My veal cutlet was the best I've ever had.More

I hate to give a bad review - but my experience does not align with most of other reviewers. We had been to quite a few restaurants in Italy on our past 3 trips, and only one of them is not up to the Italian...standard - well, now I have two. The lobster is mushy (not fresh) , the tartar portion is about half of what we were used to (again, by Italian norm,) the pasta is bland and not much flavor, and cuttlefish is over cooked. The service is reasonable, but I had been treated so well in Italy; I think that they need to notch up a bit to be on par. They might have a bad day for this specific day - I have to say that they are at least inconsistent. There are many more - for the effort to go find this restaurant, you can do a lot better in MilanMore

This is a great trattoria in Milan recommended to us by the local tour guide company Milan Private Tours. We were two couples having dinner on the last night of our two week trip to Italy and what a great way to end it. The...food and service were superb. Great pastas and the “deconstructed”cannoli dessert was the best! Having had cannolis in Sicily, I was intrigued in that the Nerino Dieci version uses Sicilian ricotta and allows you to fill the shells yourself, so no soggy cannolis! Really a great dessert and right there with the Sicilian version. All in all a great restaurant that is very reasonably priced.More
