Nice restaurant in the Museum top floor. On the terrace fantastic views of the square. Food is nice, especially pasta (ravioli with fish). Service is ok, but sometimes slow. Book in advance

We went for dinner on our first night in Milan. A Bistro-style fresh meat & Milanese dishes, in an art deco-style space with a terrace & Duomo piazza views in the building where there is the Museo del Novecento. The menue includes fish platters, pasta, truffles and game & are served by jacketed waiters. Its quite touristic because of its... More

the service was the worst i have ever received at a 'nice' restaurant in my entire life, and i eat frequently at extremely high end restaurants for work. the service was extremely slow for no apparent reason, there was tension between the staff the was visible (upon our leaving, our waiter was arguing with the host and paid us zero... Absolutely dissapointing, We only for drinks so we were not allowed to see any view (even there was many free tables close to the windows) Stuff were so rude. We ordered from wine menu, but the waiter doupled the price of the drinks because we didn't have lunch with our drinks. So we had to pay extra even not seeing... More

I visited this restaurant for a business lunch not sure of what to expect, given that its extraordinary position could well be abused by just another chain...instead, I found an elegant place, a very attentive service, some extraordinary food! All at a reasonable price (considering all). A pleasent place for a business or a romantic lunch!

We booked a late dinner, walked up already gently buzzed and were friendly told that we'd have to wait 'a while' for our table. Settled at the bar and continued on our path to aperitif-perdition, amused by the very diverse patrons coming and going under our noses. Finally we were accompanied to our tiny table and squeezed into our places... More

Cool contemporary atmosphere on the upper level of the Galleria. Stop in for excellent drinks and appetizers. Careful, new appetizer plates were brought out with each new drink (despite our asking for only drinks). You also may have to wait 10+ min for a table.

My wife and I had a romantic weekend in Milan and wandered into the restaurant in the museum on a whim and were treated to some of the best food we've ever eaten. The terrace would be fab on a warm sunny day but the conservatory style room overlooking the piazza offered a great view of the tourists being rained... More

Terrible food. The risotto was cold and so tasteless that it's even hard to describe what went wrong with that. They brought an angus carpacio with roccolla and parmesan. It had a terrible smell until I discovered that it was flavored with sesame oil. Who in Italy use sesame oil for meat carpaccio??!! After half an hour I understood the... More

This restaurant and bar is in a privileged location on the third floor of the Museo del Novecento. The inside is cozy and warm, with a full bar. The balcony is the place to be, especially on a nice spring or fall day. It provides a magnificent view of the Duomo and the Piazza del Duomo. Great for a cup... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
