Décor dated but could be presented as "characterful". menu is Milanese but delivery is poor. hospital catering standard with top restaurant prices. 100 euros for a two course meal for two with half bottle and one glass of wine. For same cost we had a lovely meal at da Vic. Get a taxi and go there for proper meal.

Having just arrived in Milan after a long flight, we were in search of an authentic meal close to our hotel. There was only one problem - it was late afternoon and the majority of restaurants (other than around the Duomo or other high tourist traffic areas) were closed until the evening. We stumbled across Da Bruno as it was... More

Gnocchi and tiramisu were good, but not great. Portions are not huge, so this would be a good place to go full Italian if you are really hungry. The menu is quite extensive and service really good and restaurant popular with locals.

As you walk into Da Bruno you are magically sent back to the year 1977 wow!, the place is just soo dated and stuck in the past, it needs a major refurb. Food is cooked badly, for example grilled Lamb comes to the table under cooked, fries are covered in oil, Main dishes served with no Veg instead you must... More

We wanted a traditional 'Milanese' meal and chose this restaurant based on Tripadvisor ratings. How disappointing!! The food was of a poor standard and expensive for the quality. My tomato and mozzarella salad was served with tomatoes lacking in flavour and poor quality mozzarella. My son's prawn cocktail was served with prawns that looked 'tired' and with the veins left... I don't know what restaurant these other reviewers have been to, but we left asap after the main course. Some locals walked before ordering. This isn't what I paid flights and hotel to experience. I have no problem paying for good food, but this wasn't and brings Milan's culinary culture into disrepute - check the photo, this was unnaturally 'microwave... More

We were staying in a hotel close by and wanted to have a genuine Italian lunch before picking up our car to drive to Barolo. We had stayed at a hotel close by many years ago and had dined here once then so we decided to try it again. The food felt as authentic as it had felt years ago.... More

This place appeared inviting and from the outside it looks authentic. My partner and I came here for an early dinner as our first proper dinner in Milan. We didn't have much expectations however that was a good thing as we felt the food was enjoyable but on the average side. still pleasant though. The service was nice upfront however... More

The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
