This great place offers surprising good food with the right balance between quality and prices. The tartare with tartufo biancho was really send from Heaven. In addition the tagliatelle with the same tartufo was unbeatable. The wine list was incredible. This place deserves a return visit.

I was around in Milan and I suddently decided to eat something, so I went to this restaurant. As usual, as most restaurant in Milan, they were fully booked however they proposed me a place in the bar and I accepted. The service at the bar was very good, the made a very good cocktails (I got a "milano torino")... More

Worth booking if you can, as we didn't and there were no tables left, but they sat us at the bar, which was great. The food was excellent, freshly prepared, locally sourced. They were happy to explain what each dish on the menu was so that we could make our choices. We were too stuffed to eat dessert, but managed... More

For those of us who are food obsessed, a trip to Italy is both a wonderful time and a daunting task. We had a few days to spend in Milan before heading to the Piedmomte for a week and I didn't want to waste any time on bad food (as if that's possible in Italy is debatable). So I obsessively... Came with the entire family. Smart menu with vegetables, fish, meat, cheese and the famous risotto: everything was spot on. The risotto in particular was the best I've every had. It had an elegant simplicity (browned onions) but deep flavor. Who could deny going back again and again. Atmosphere here is that of serious people doing good food. Nice park,... More

We have been traveling in Europe for almost 5 weeks, and have decided that this is the best meal we have had. We did the priced fix menu, and every dish was outstanding. It's a kind of casual type place with waiters in jeans, t-shirts, and aprons and patrons in all type of dress. The location is in a beautiful... More

Cesare Battisti is brilliant and pragmatic. Coupling creativity with robustness is a hard work. You'll find concrete flavors with eccentric spin, seasonal fresh vegetables, excellent meat, fish gently cooked and wise approach to eggs. Don't miss desserts: will surprise for sure.

Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
