This place serves a lot of the classic dishes you will see at many places in Milan; the best ossobuco I had in the city. The cavatelli, goose, and the chocolate souffle are awesome as well.

For sure the restaurant is in a touristy area. The location is good and away from the hustle and bustle, especially all the crowded bars with happy hour. The service is just ok, and so is the food. But English menus for anyone struggling with Italian.

First time visit to Milan and was recommended to check out the Navigili district. Happened to pick this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great, staff were attentive and we weren't rushed even though it was a busy evening. Would eat there again in an instant.

Cozy vibe. Nice, broad menu. Good value but quality food. Attentive staff but not hurrying us, considering how busy it is in that area. Would revisit.

After a 21 hour-flight from home and a quick nap to recharge, we headed out to Navigli for a romantic dinner. It was our first visit to Milan and we read a lot of great things about this district for a romantic evening. We walked around to gaze at the array of ristorantes on both sides of the canal before... Excellent service. Lovely food. Portions are not huge, but the quality is amazing. The swordfish was delicious. Steak also very good. Desserts were yummy (chocolate soufflé totally worth the 10min wait while they make it!) was my friend's 30th & we mentioned it while chatting to the waiter & they brought her surprise extra cake for dessert with candles etc-... I ate at this place several times few years ago wnen I was on business trip and now when back to Milan went again to see if the quality is still the same. Pleasant surprise, very tasty food and very good selection of wines. Unfortunately was late to pick outside table although we were before usual Italian dinner time. So... More

We were disappointed with our meal here. Service was poor. Starter was cold. Main meal was ok but not worth the price. Located in the touristy canal area of Milan. There lots of choice on this street and definitely more attractive options in hindsight.

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
