Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lunch time , I entered inside this restaurant to ask if they made business lunch, the waitress answered that they didn’t and she told me the dishes prepared for the day without price list. I choose a chicken fried cutlet with potatoes and incredibly I...payed for it 19,50€…. Expensive but I accept this but I cannot stand to pay 7,00€ for a quarter of bulk white wine, that’s mean 28,00€ per literMore

This place is just an institution for the good pizza al trancio in Milan. My dad used to come here when he was a university student and I have picked up this tradition from him, which I’ll sure pass on to my kids. They have...been making pizza in slices since 1927, when they opened and their pizza is still distinctive for its format: you can only have it in giant and juicy slices. How they manage to keep the slices so soft inside and so crunchy on the borders is still a secret…and will be so for the next 100 years. By the way, their centenary is close…hope they will throw up a big celebration for 100 years of the best pizza al trancio in Milan!More

I walked in around midnight for a late night slice of pizza with my friends. We ordered 3 slices of sausage pizza and a side of potatoes to go and were charged €35. Classic taking advantage of Americans. I was not in the mood to...argue so I paid and will never be going back.More

I am going since 35 years in this pizzeria and the quality remains unchanged. The service is friendly, pizzas are good and priced reasonably. It can be crowded in the evenings and during the weekend

We was recomened this place by a taxi-driver. But We are not so satisfied. We expected more typical Italien pizza, with thin crust. The service was also not as we expected. Sorry.

I think this place, although characterized by a cuisine tipical from the region of Tuscany, offers one of the best pizza I've ever tried. I used to get their pizza since I was a kid with my nonna and the rest of the family. The...way its done, is simpy amazing! Thick crust, very crispy on the outside, from the olive oil used at the bottom of the big pizza pan, and then a layer of mozzarella cheese that simply melts both on the pizza and in your mouth. This Pizza reminds me of home, meaning something familiar. I'd also suggest to try their steaks, as well as their first courses. Staff is amazing and very down to earth and they make ou feel like you are eating at home!More

It’s reasonable food here at a reasonable price. A good neighborhood pizzeria. There were lots of locals dining here tonight. Mainly a middle aged crowd. It’s middle of the road and simple fare here. I had a nice panzenella to start. The only main dish...I thought I’d like on the menu - beans with sausages - was out of season. I ended up choosing a tolerably tasty seafood salad albeit that it had that fake crayfish roll stuff in it. The calamari was good in the dish though and so were the shrimps. A good thing as it was a comparatively expensive dish. I wasn’t keen to have pizza at all tonight and I’d have to say that on first view on the other tables the pizzas looked awful. Huge, thick and doughy, the complete opposite of thin crust with a crispy base. My partner had a pizza though and gave me a couple of bits. It was actually moderately reasonable and had a crispy base. The other attendee at the dinner had lasagne having originally been seeking a snack. Service was pleasant throughout. It was an OK experience.More

We were told of this place from a worker at a small Carrefour grocery near our Best Western Ascot. We took so long hoofing it on foot but later found out it was take tram #16 get off at MonteNero at via Bergamo then go...to the #9 that says Porto Genova and get off at Via Bligny. Then a real treat, I think the owner is Tuscan looking at the menu, we had a rucola salad and I had killer eggplant parm although I wanted Cotelletta Milanese but it sure was good and my partner had lasagna and great red wine for lunch then we came back for dinner and had Tuscan sausage and grilled veggies and I had vitello tonnoto excellent with the great red wine, moderate for Milano and such a sweet waitress Emanuela. We told them we were from New Orleans and will send her a postcard. It was totally locals.More

First of all I'm not a pizza fun generally BUT here for the first time I consider the possibilities to change my opinion. Anyway this place it's just the right place to visit when you want to taste something unusual and really good. The waiters...are amazing and really nice with everyone. So 5 stars for you.
