We found Hostaria La Baita highly enjoyable, the food was lovely as were all the staff, if we are ever in Milan again we will definitely return. Can recommend it highly enough, perfect final meal to our Italian honeymoon
The food was really good. The waiters were excellent, they described the dishes for me in English and even humoured my poor Italian. Portions were on the large side. There was a dessert table to die for and again they described everything for me in...English. Hard to see how it could be improved. Prices were reasonable too - fairly standard for Italy.More
It a fabulous place to have a fabulous time. The food and service was amazing, we didn't have a reservation but the owner to great care of us. It was my best experience eating authentic Italian food. You will not want to miss this.Try homemade...dessert are so yummy!!More
Really attentive waiters and a great selection of food for both vegetarians and meat eaters. We stopped by for lunch with a friend and our toddler this weekend.
All the pasta dishes were perfectly cooked and the aperol spitz were perfect. Thanks for a very...enjoyable lunch.More
We returned to this traditional osteria following its move to new premises around the corner since we were last there a couple of years ago. The welcome was warm; the service attentive without being overdone and the food honest and good at a sensible price....Long may they continue to prosperMore
We were wandering around the neighborhood where we were staying and came across this place. It is much better than many of the tourist traps to be found close by. Service is excellent and the pasta and seafood dishes excellent. Recommended.
Bearing in mind its proximity to main station this was great restaurant with buzzing
atmosphere mixture of tourists from a round the world and locals and delightful staff who in majority spoke good English. When we ordered starter of tagliatelle with prawns and courgette to...share they brought it on two plates which was nice rather than one bowl in centre of table to share. We had steak and grilled swordfish both very good on first evening. The second time we ate here my pasta (large tubes pacchieri ? with tomato and swordfish pieces) was undercooked and I should have sent it back but was with friends and didn't want to make a fuss. Pizzas were large and very good. We would recommend this and eat here again.More
Excellent restaurant. Beautiful linen. Attentive service and wine recommendations. Fresh Porcini mushrooms brought to the table and advised to share as a starter - great advice! They were fantastic. Wine suggestions re: half bottles of Falanghini and Barbera D'asti. Chips so tasty (thrice cooked) Sailfish...the best I've tasted. For sweet the 3x profiterles covered in chocolate were devine. €102 for 2x three courses. includes aperos bread and water. You can save money (all over Italy) by not having bread and water. There is (again, all over Italy) a cover charge (not service charge) so you have to tip the waiter as well if your happy with them.
Ciao, Bon appetito!More

Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the
terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
