All the finest flavours of Sicily in this family restaurant: a cosy and quiet setting frames delicious pasta alle sarde or alla Norma with aubergines. Excellent dishes of fresh fish and typical home made pastry. A corner of paradise near the central railway station.

Quiet ambience for good Sicilian-style cucine. We had pasta con le sarde, polpette di polipo and ripieno siciliano - all quite good (except the pasta slightly over cooked - but still good) and a fantastic cannolo. Friendly service.

Located along a road you would normally not consider, this restaurant is just excellent. You would not believe you could find such quality in Milano (I mean, a thousand km north of Sicily). The owner obviously knows how to find fine ingredients and knows how...More

Description
The restaurant Trattoria Siciliana da Salvatore, a short walk from the Central Station of Milan , aims resolved to introduce its customers to the Sicilian culinary tradition, not doing miss the warmth and hospitality of our own land. After climbing a ramp of stairs, it is our pleasure to welcome you in Sicily, suspended between tradition and modernity: the large, bright room retains the characteristic number of the Sicilian tradition, well reflected in the ceramics from Caltagirone and Santo Stefano di Camastra, from puppets and carts . Let us take you through the flavors of the Sicilian land , beginning with " balls of anchovies , "continuing with" pasta ca 'muddica "and" pasta alla Norma , "not giving up" filling the Sicilian ", and concluding with cassata, cannoli and almond paste . Let accompany this "path of taste" by a good bottle of wine, a wide choice of paper, marked by the Sicilian. Trattoria Siciliana da Salvatore boasts a family: The Chef and owner Salvatore, can revisit the culinary tradition with its own personal touch; Mrs. Rita, his wife, who conveys the warmth Sicilian and advise, in order to meet the possible tastes and demands of customers; The son Alfredo, the future in continuity with tradition. Freshness of products , careful selection of raw materials, attention to detail, craftsmanship and its realization of everything that makes up our plates, dedication and passion: these are our "words d 'order' and what we intend to offer, if you decide to start this trip in the Sicilian culinary tradition.
