Very friendly service staff presents you with a set menu of excellent food and matching wine going through numerous courses and an unmatched cheese selection. Highly recommended.

Quite simply this is a dining experience. Course after course of wonderful Italian food. Somillier chose incredible wine for each course and frankly a bargain at €70 per head. Staff were also superb. Go there hungry, leave happy and sated.

A perfect relaxed italian place to eat, especially if you are into italian meats, wines and cheese. Impossible to leave the place hungry. Great, very welcoming and nice staff who lead us though the meal. I will return there for sure. In addition to the meat selections and cheese, the risotto was excellent. Price was 75€/person including the wine, and... More

We came here on our second to last night in Italy. It was certainly worth it. We were a few minutes late but they didn't mind. We sat down and were greeted by one of the 3 waiters and he gave us the low down which was basically put yourselves in their hands and they'll take care of you by... More

Our first afternoon in Milan with friends and we stopped here for lunch. Close to Cadorna Train Station, the owner/staff were very welcoming and guided us through a wonderful selection of cured meats and cheese with accompanying wine. Burrata Cheese and Coppa we firm favourites. Highly recommended.

As lovers of meat, cheese and wine this restaurant appealed to us and we weren't disappointed. It's a set menu and is salad, hams, pasta, cheeses and desert. Each course is served with a detailed explanation of what you are eating and a glass of matched wine (they also leave the bottle if you would like a second glass). It's... More

Come hungry! We got one of the set menus and the food was amazing but there was a lot of it. They gladly made some customizations for my vegetarian girlfriend even though there wasn't an option on the menu for that. They were only open 8-11 which was a little strange because it took that long just to get through... More

This place is just great, friendly and professional staff, great atmosphere and the wine and food is just divine. Its not cheap but definitely worth every euro. Everything in the fixed menu from the veggies to the meet and cheese and finally the dessert is perfectly matched with great wine. Can't wait to go next time I'm back

My visit to this restaurant was one of the best dining experiences of my life. Everything was superb. The concept is different is maybe not what most are used to, but I now wish more places did it. If you want to order from a standard menu and have a standard meal then go to a standard restaurant, Boccondivino is... More

I have been there with some friends for new years eve. Plenty of food and wine, very nice staff. Loved the ham and the pannetone with whipped cream. Would visit again. PS: Best wishes for the maestro ;)

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
