Fancied something different while staying in Milan and Asmara definitely delivers on this. It is traditional Eritrean, with dishes served on large pancakes, and was overall tasty, and the staff were friendly. However I can't get the excellent Mosob in London out of my head - the difference in flavour is considerable, although granted Mosob is also more expensive. I... More

There are several Eritrean eating places around the Stazione Central / Reppublica, and we happened to choose the Asmara. An excellent choice: we had the vegetarian starter of dips, zucchini and injera ('bread' made from kif grain flour) followed by the veggie main dish which included lentils, spinach, and again, injera. If you are vegetarian or vegan, and fed up... More

Went there for the first time with a friend, we were both very satisfied. The place is really lovely and the staff kind and nice, a thing that many restaurants lack nowadays. The food is very good and not too expensive. The average price for a dinner is €20 per person. Recommended.

Lovely staff, good food. My favorite zighini since the 90's, I always come here every now and then. In very central area, easy to reach.

I have tried a few eritrean restaurants in Milan and have concluded that this is my favorite (my only other reference to Eritrean food is restaurants in London). The feeling really comes from a mix of genuinely preferring the food here, and also the warm welcoming atmosphere. It's the kind of place you can go with friends and spend a... More

The main dishes are formed by a fair serving of tender, seasoned meet with vegetables of different sorts (aubergines, lentilis, beets, ... ). If you like spicy food go for the "Red spriss". All comes accompanied by the typical ethiopian/eritrean bread. Food is good, prices are ok, the owner is nice and kind.

We took friends here who had never had Ethiopian food before. After living in Ethiopia for a few years I noted that the 'wat' had been spiced down somewhat for foreigners but the presentation, dishes, and atmosphere are very Eritrean. Everything on the menu may not be available depending on what they are able to buy fresh that day. The... More

In this area u can find lot of others eritrean rest. There is also a 2nd floor ..probably they rent it out for special... More

Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
