I dined here with my wife and had a seafood platter and it was amazing. The quality of the food was of the highest standards and the service was also very good. The portion sizes were also great. I am heading to this restaurant in the next couple of days for a return visit to the region. Highly recommend.

On our stay in Bergamo Citta Alta, we dined at this wonderful restaurant twice. Celebrating its 60th year with family still strongly at the helm. Every meal cooked and served to perfection with hand made pasta, pizza and beautiful dishes using the best produced and wines from the region. The level of service is second to none. Very well priced... More

Nice place but not bright since it is located in an old building. Anyway you can stay in a friendly environment.

In Alta citation, damimo is a real find. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was prepared and at our table in 10 minutes...fastest delivery of delicious food in Italy. My pizza of the day had buffalo mozzarella, basil, mortadella and San Marzano tomatoes. It was amazing. My partner had the local pasta caseonsei which is a ravioli... More

Damimo offers good italian food, covering all the classics and some variations with local ingredients. They mostly specialize in pizzas which go beyond the ones you can get everywhere which are pretty tasty. The restaurant itself is rather rich and warmly decorated, the staff is very helpful and offer you a complementary glass of prosecco when seated. I went off-season... More

We had dinner here on Sunday evening. We chose it as the menu looked very impressive, as was the way it was displayed in their windows. They pride themselves on the local provenance of their ingredients and on the fact that they're 60 years in business. A little booklet on each table tells the story of Mimmo and his beloved... More

We recently ate at Da Mimmo for the second time while staying in the Upper City. My partner and I had eaten wonderful things there before and both went for the pizza. They have a great selection of classic pizzas and local specialities. Highly recommended!

We have visited Bergamosince 1985 at least once peryear. We have eaten here many times. We no the food of Bergamo verywell. The food this time was dosappointing. TheCasoncelli had a strange taste of vinegar. Beyond that the impression that everyone was treated as strictly a tourist and they wanted to rushyou in and out as quickly as possible. The prices... This place served us the some of the best pizza we've ever had! It was a Sunday night and it looked very crowded. We didn't have a reservation and I was worried we wouldn't get seated. We were seated right away however and offered a complimentary glass of Prosseco. The staff were incredible, kind and attentive. Their English was perfect... More
