Great start to Genoa for me. The food was very very good and the waitress spoke english well. She was ready to help with the menu. Service was fast by European standards.

Thus was my third or fourth time. I really like it.It's very inviting and has kind of a rustic, homey feel to it. I was able to get a table for myself. Very pleasant owners (I guess they are the owners). I ordered the grilled...octopus with a creamed bean sauce. Very simple and flavorful. I had a glass of the house white and it was light and crisp. They have a great variety of farinate there. Probably the largest in Genoa. The octoopus could have been a bit warmer, but that's my only complaint.More

Had a fine meal here after a visit to the Via Nuova Museums. We had trenette al pesto and they were quite good. When we went it was quiet and service really enjoyable.

last night I went with my grandmother in the cadraio, restaurant with typical Genovese cuisine in the heart of Genoa, friendly and kind staff, the right bill for quality, the only flaw perhaps the waiting times slightly long. despite this highly recommended, we will definitely...returnMore

After reading all the positive reviews we were expecting a bit more. The choice of dishes were very limited. We experienced quite long waiting time and poor service. Waiters frequently forgot the orders. Although the guys were nice and friendly. The price are high if...comparing to what we got. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this place.More

The Cadraio is in the back alleys of Genoa so it is quite the search to get there. Once inside however the food is great atmosphere is nice and the staff friendly. I really enjoyed dining there...

2 of us recently ate here for the 4th time in the last 2 years. The food was excellent as usual and with quite a small menu, it was easy to make a choice. Although there was only one waiter on and a number of...tables occupied, he did a brilliant job serving at the right pace for food and drink and was very friendly. Would definitely come again and recommend.More

An excellent restaurant. Great food. You must try Genova version of minestrone soup with pesto. Local dishes are all good. Fish is fantastic. Service is very good. It is bit tricky to find the restaurant, located in a very small "dodgy" street. The easiest is...to reach Garibaldi street and ask for directionMore

Unbelievable quality and great taste of products. Family business. The service is great include explanation. Recommend!

My husband and I visited this restaurant tonight. The waiter was excellent spoke good English and asked us about our holiday etc. Really friendly and the food was very good. Homemade Tiramisu was lovely to finish off! Definitely worth a visit and reasonably priced.
