We passed this by chance and seeing lots of locals in there we went in for lunch. Simple menu, local pasta dishes, as well as fish, all delicious. The Tiramasu with pistachio was particularly good and unusual, and the vinsento with ameretti biscuits were great.

The best place we've been to during our stay in Genova! Stuffed and fried anchovies were exceptional. Spicy herbal ravioli and trofie in pine nut sauce had been a great choice as well!

Stop in for lunch today and was immediately greeted with a "Buon giorno" and friendly smile by the chief server; you're not going to find a maitre d' here. I was seated at a communal table and promptly greeted by my waitress. I ordered fettuccine...al pesto with fagiolini and patate, and battered and fried cod fillets, with a bottle of sparkling water to drink. The courses arrived promptly and in good order. The pesto was excellent, the perfect texture and taste, and the good bread that accompanied it did good service in soaking up what remained after I finished the pasta. The cod fillets were lightly battered and fried and were clearly fresh fish. to my regret I didn't notice that one of the house desserts was pistachio tiramisu until I was paying my E23 bill. The ambience of this restaurant was great; a neighbouring table was filled with a group of office workers celebrating one of their birthdays. In all, a very good and a very reasonably priced trattoria that I can't wait to return to on Friday for their stoccafissa.More

The menu here is limited but each dish is obviously crafted with care. The pasta is fresh, the sauces tasty. My seafood stuffed ravioli were outstanding. Be sure to make a reservation as seating is limited.

We went without a reservation and there was a 10 minute waiting time, but it was definitely worth it! Great food, and I especially recommend the pesto!

We did not reserve and decided to go by at opening time at 19.25. At that moment the staff was taking reservations at the street and we could take one of the last slots at. 21.00. It was worth waiting. The food is great with...local dishes such as pasta pesto and seafood. It's a buzzing place where staff is rushing serve all the tables.More

Stopped by for lunch has after seeing the Cattedrale di San Lorenzo. A mix of tourist and locals, we really enjoyed the food. Had the pansoti with walnut sauce and then the stuffed anchovies. All was delicious. Busy, but service was very good.

We missed eating here the night we found it - all tables were full and locals were queuing which was a good sign. The following night we got in early to secure a table and the meal was sensational. The pansotti with walnut sauce was...particularly stunning. The staff treated us like regulars. For the price this was a fantastic experience.More

Terrible service. Slow and surly. Not helpful. Does she not like people who don't speak Italian. Food was okay and wine was good but service makes a meal in a restaurant and this was truly dreadful. Ignored for 15 minutes to start. Food was practically...thrown onto the table. No attention to providing glasses for wine. No additional cutlery after first course cleared. Had to chase up about a possible dessert and then didn't seem to be offered a dish we saw served at other tables. Basically thoroughly rude which made for an unpleasant evening. Could have had better experience buying food in the Carrefour round the corner and cooking in our apartment. Previous evening at another Trattoria (delle Grazie) had been wonderful and all else in Genoa amazing.More
