The stuff is very friendly and the ambient is very lovely. Their bread is really tasty, so as everything else from advanced tasty cevapcici, to ricotta, gnocci, juice and wine. Cant wait to come back this month. Keep on doing the great job!
As ever, these guys provide a non-nonsense approach with high quality on-site produced and cooked food. This makes for a somewhat exotic experience for a Londoner!
Hearty and honest, fairly priced and delicious.
I miss the table of products (wine, jams) etc that one could...also buy.More
They grow their own vegetables as well as cows, chicken and pigs. They also make their own wine. All is grown and prepared without using chemicals, Demeter method. Great homy experience with great and helathy food.
I stopped there few times a year and I was never dissapointed. You need to get used to it with staff and their service, but overall it's not a big problem. Food is very cosy and home made from their farm. I always eat cold...cuts and their ragu.More
Wau, were really amased by the food they prepare there - simple, made from quality home-made ingredients. Could not be better.
Service - not so perfect. Strange system of not serving outside, taking really long to get drinks and food, forgetting things... maybe it was...just due to crowd... but still really really nice experience. Willcome back for sure!More
This has to be one of the best places I've eaten in a long time. The food and wine are all grown and produced on this family-run farm. The family that works and runs the place are very friendly and kind, ask them about the...Azienda and they will passionately explain the family story, in this modern day it is a pleasure to see this family maintaining their heritage...but let's talk about the food! Spectacular is an understatement, from the homemade bread and salami that they make with a special recipe (another family story you have to hear!) to the gnocchi (potato dumplings) and the roasted pork or the final dessert you will have to try, everything is a culinary delight!(these are just to name a few of the foods we tried) The wine was fantastic and the family that runs the restaurant are simply wonderful. We had the best time and I know I will return again many times as this has become one of my go-to places when I want great tasting genuine food in a warm and inviting atmosphere.More
Great for the weekend, for any day or for a special day, a party, a celebration ... friendly, accurate in preparation, simple and elaborate dishes, ... I can only speak well of both the location and the people you will meet . Excellent.
The Agricultura Milic is a great place in the mountains above Trieste, still in Italy but at the Slovenian border. So you need a car or a transport whatsoever to get there but as soon as you reach this place you won’t regret it, since...it is a country-style Inn, a huge farm house with many farmer’s tools on the walls.
Here at Milic they offer you all kinds of organic farmer’s products they (the Milic family) produce themselves, such as ham, smoked bacon, cream cheese with herbs and pumpkin seed oil, parmesan (parmigiano), roast beef, rucola, grain, gnocchi in herb sauce, as well as blood sausages, grill sausages, goulash with noodles, sauerkraut, lasagna with cheese and herb filling, and potato salad. Many of the dishes you get on large wooden plates to underscore the rustic ambience of this place. This all comes with home-made fresh bread (rolls, buns, pinza) coming warm directly out of the oven.
As for the drinks, at Milic you get home-made red wine and white wine. For the desert we had vanilla cream with fresh strawberries and home roasted coffee. For the digestive we got a traditional tran of cherry liquor with honey.
The food and the wines are very delicious and organic here at Milic. The whole establishment is good for large groups and provides a certain kind of event character, as the Milic is an agricultural place serving their own products in utmost autarky.
From Trieste with Love!

This is a true local agriturismo. It is run by a family, ladies wear traditional dresses, they speak Slovene and Italian and are very welcoming, always up for a joke. Food is extremely tasty, I especially like the home made starters, sausages, bread and cheese....They have great grilled meat and great desserts. Nothing fancy, but tasty tasty!More
