I was on a hurry and while I was roaming around I accidentally found this place! Then I stayed to have an early dinner and I can say that I enjoyed it a lot ! The staff was super helpful and friendly! They have a...very nice selection of beers and the food is pretty good ! I really enjoyed my time there and I surely will visit this place again!More

Good beers & interesting food

I already wrote a review five years ago, complaining about the quality of the food. I have been again twice recently, and they seem to have worked on that; now they serve some interesting dishes. The pork ribs are delicious (although a little fat), as...is the Bubba burger (served with shrimps and lard). The beer selection is always great, with a fast rotation.More

Business

Very, very nice staff; the dinner was absolutely wanderfull! Plaisent atmosphere, good quality of the products. We ate a perfect grilled ribeye from Irland. Good variety of Trappiste Beers!

The place to try beer

It is very nice place where you can taste different draft or bottled beers and also try good food - burgers, pork ribs and others. The prices are good and the ambience is pleasant. Many young people go there to chat andhave a drink.

Best craft beer in Trieste

They have an excellent selection of craft beers from Italy and other countries in Europe (UK, Belgium, Germany) and the staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about beer. This place has a lot more warmth and atmosphere than Hops Beerstro. The bottled Italian Blueberry Lambic was...excellent. The food was less clear, I ordered the Moroccan style lamb leg and what came had no discernible Moroccan seasoning? I would need to eat here one more time to make my mind up about eating here.More

Fabulous Local Beers, Lovely Food

At least six local beers available. We tried Ghisa, an Italian smoked porter, Knoblach, a German lager, a peanut stout and several others. Great selection of beers. Decent and enthusiastic

I read about Taverna ai Mastri d'Arme on a website about beer and I was already aware of their enthusiastic approach towards beer. What I did not know was how helpful and sincere could their service be. The interior is decorated very nicely, with the...feeling of a tavern from very old times. Looks and smells nice. The staff welcomed us very warmly. I had a few questions on the local beer they might be serving and they responded very swiftly, friendly and obviously with pleasure. They explained their specialties and I ordered a soup and it was special indeed. I tasted 4 different beers -with the guidance of the staff- and they were also very satifying. My wife tasted a liquor made of ale (I'm not sure if they have it regularly) and it was also impressive. This is not a simple bar, this is a special beer tavern, built and run by beer enthusiasts. I can simply say, I could not have enough of Taverna ai Mastri d'Arme. If I were living nearby, I would surely be their regular customer. Thank you ladies and gentlemen.More

A little hidden away

Good selection of beers. Very friendly staff. Fun old world aesthetic. Good place for large groups to enjoy conversation.
