The answer is the dark chocolate, but the lemon isn't far behind. Great service in a active part of town. They let you sample as much as you would like, so you can get just what you want. The prices are fantastic 2.20 euros for a single scoop

It's a story of two Italians from Torino that they started to make Gelato the way they use to make it in Italy. U can really feel the natural taste. It is a little bit to sweet form my taste but it's worth to take one if you are near. Try the "Crema come una volta" and pistacchio. They offer... More

The whole "organic" mumbo jumbo marketing pitch is useless if the gelato has a ridiculous amount of emulsifier (as in cold chewing gum) and the flavors are pretty average. I am not surprised, given that this is a chain. So why come here? I do not know... I just felt like reminding myself that there is always better gelato. So... More

This gelateria offered the smallest choice of flavours of all the ones we visited in Trieste. Portions were ok, but the texture was a little bit too sticky. While the torroncino flavour was very well done, the salted caramel tasted too much of burnt caramel. You clearly notice this is not a single gelateria but more of a "chain". I... More

Love this place because I can actually have an ice cream! They have a good selection of fruit sorbetti, fresh fruit juice ice lollies and a totally delicious chocolate with chocolate chips. I'm in heaven! It's got lovely dairy full ice cream as well with whipped cream and sprinkles. Highly recommended.

As good as Zampolli but with less choice of flavors. The various kinds of cones available here plus the whipped cream topping is awesome !

We had gelato twice a day for a week while in Italy. And we went to this one twice. It's the only one we went to more than once and it's because it's delicious! We went on Mother's Day and I was given a free cone since I am a mother. What a special treat! The flavors are so good... More

I tried many different ice creams around the world and Italy. First of all the best icecream for me is no doubt italian icream, it is completely different from others (more creamy, better taste). I tried Grom years ago and im still going there very ofther because of the special ice cream. Also all of my friend agree with me... More

We "dicovered" Grom in Trieste and since then, wherever we go in Italy, we check where to find it. Perfect structure, always nice stuff, biological ingredians,... Could be better? No!!!

If you love gelato but are pressed for time a GROM will always deliver the goods. Plus they're a slow food provider so you can lick with a clear conscience.
