During my trips to Italy, I've tried gelato from many shops in different cities. The pistachio gelato from Gioelia was hands-down, the best gelato I've ever tasted so far. Add dark chocolate in the cone to take the taste up a notch. Delizioso!

Wonderful ice cream!

The store is off the Main Street so you may need a gps system. You can buy ice cream and sit across the store on an old stone wall. Really glad we stopped in. Incredible to say the least.

Very nice ice cream...

It's actually really nice ice cream. To be more specific, the flavour was great, the texture very smooth and was by no means gooey. Liked the catalan and the strawberry the most.

The very best gelato we’ve EVER had......

Wow, I’ve been eating this my whole and now I’ve found perfection. Amazing flavours, perfectly balanced, with the smoothest texture you can possibly imagine. If I lived in Modena, I would visit Emilia’s every single day. Italy does great gelato, but this place takes things...to a whole new level. Amazing.More

Awesome gelato

Walking around Modena, we were looking for a gelateria and came across this lovely place in a nice square. So happy we found this, it was the best gelato we had on this trip. The gelato was fresh tasting and so very creamy. This is...a must try when in Modena.More

Lovely ice-cream place.

A good selection of traditional and exciting flavours, and some interesting kind of mini pre-prepared sundaes. Very enjoyable. It's in a nice bit of old Modena where there are a few restaurants as well.

THE best

This is also a must when in Modena. An Italian friend recommended and I could not be happier or more please with the absolutely delicious ice cream. One of the best I have ever tried!

After Dinner Treat

Excellent gelato and very friendly staff. Place is right near the city center and close to a number of good restaurants so it is easy to make an excuse to stop. Some of the best gelato I have had in Italy

Gelateria and more

This chain ice cream shop is much more than a gelateria. Other than their tasty, creamy ice creams, they also serve glass desserts and they pay just as much attention to the presentation as to the products themselves.
