This gelato was perfection! We went back for a second time because the gelato was so well-balanced and delicious. There were some unique flavour combinations including Blueberry Cheesecake and Ricordo Catalano (vanilla with cinnamon and orange marmalade). The menu is categorized with a variety of...options (i.e. vegan / dairy / dairy-free / nuts / etc. ) This place is not to be missed! If you love gelato, you will love Bloom!More

There are many ice cream stores in Modena, we tried many but this one was simply the best! Also vegan options and very interesting flavors. You have to try it to understand the difference 😉

In Italy there is great ice cream on every corner. This is better super smooth texture, fantastic flavor. Just great.

THE best ice cream I ever had! Recommended to everyone, has very interesting flavours and low prices. The whipped cream is hand made and delicious.

The staff is extremely friendly, the gelatto is to die for! You have to try this one when visiting Modena. Creamy, flavourful, delicious gelatto!

Bloom wins. We ate gelato every day for two weeks, from Rome to Bologna to Venice to Milan. The Lonely Planet guide implied Bloom was the best of all gelaterias. I asked the young woman at the counter if that were true, and she assured...me it was, citing a recent award that said so. Really? Dearest Reader, it is true. You can get the classics here, but why not try one of their original works of gelato art in a coppetta? We tried some classics (delicious), and we tried some originals. La Spagnola, which is their Crema (milk, sugar, egg) infused with sour cherry from nearby Vignola. Oh. Oh. Ricordo Catalano (presumably based on the gelato maestro's memories of Catalunya?), which was the most amazing mixture of fior di latte (ultra high quality milk and sugar) infused with vanilla and cinnamon from Goa, India, enriched with orange marmalade. What? That sounds weird. Oh. Oh. Oh. This is like nothing else I have ever had. We were blindsided. We didn't expect this level of artistry. But afterwards, I looked up information on Bloom and found many stories and interviews (thank you Google Translate!) with the young owner (is he about 12?), and in one article, he was actually referred to as "the Bottura of Gelato." It fits. And I bet Massimo stops by after a trip to the mercato. All hail Gelateria Bloom!More

The gelato at Bloom is absolutely delicious. I’ve travelled all over Italy and eaten a lot of gelato. This place is easily up there with the best gelato I have ever tasted. I had lemon and a seasonal gelato with vanilla, orange and marmalade. The...gelato is reasonably priced and there are good options for people with dietary requirements. This is an absolute MUST if you are in Modena!More

Interesting flavours and standard favourites. Delicious chocolate sorbet and plenty of lactose free choices. Friendly owner. We all loved it ❤️

Walking around town with friends we d cited to stop here for an ice cream. little I knew about the place, probably if I was aware I was entering into a franchise I probably would have skipped. Service was pleasant and ice cream was nice,...I find the description a bit over the top, but I guess this is the trend in Italy. Is all about marketing and packaging. Not sure I will make this shop into a destination, but definitely will walk in again if th opportunity ariseMore
