Our Waiter was very profesional taking care of us without being intrusive. Tortelli vecchia Modena style and the baby pig with rosted potatoes were perfect. Dispite a proper wine availabilty the wine menu Is lacking details and informations. Nevertheless if you ask help to the...Waiter he will suggest in proper way what to choose. We Will come back.More

We came to Da Danilo for lunch. It was delicious. We started with the prosciutto and bread. Our entrees were excellent. The fettuccine with prosciutto, asparagus, and mushrooms had an amazing sauce. The cheese tortellini were also excellent. Highly recommend this local place.

To me this is the ultimate Modenese dining experience. I’ve been going here for almost 40 years and it has always lived beyond my memories. Bravos 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

What an incredible experience. We came here in July and orderered around 10 dishes and wine, and the bill was less that 40 Euros! The most gorgeous, tucked away, authentic, delicious dishes all bursting with flavours. We travelled all over Italy for over three weeks...and went to 4 michilin star restaurants, and this was our top 3 favourite, and we will recommend this place to anyone we know travelling to this part of Italy. The service was also fantastic, the waiter knew the menu inside out and the order we should taste dishes, which was good to share and exactly how much to order.More

we had eaten here three year ago and had such a great time, we went back for a lazy lunch this time, as before the staff were truly excellent, taking us through the menus and hoe we would like our meal, hams and cheese to...start, with bollito misto and cottechino to follow, washed down with a marvellous lambrussco, so very very good, thank youMore

Traditional in everything, food, service, interior. A true Italian experience, not the first nor the last visit for us. A good advice is to come hungry because you are going to want to try everything.

The place is not big and it is difficult to eat here without a reservation. This is because is a part of the food history of Modena. Tortellini outstanding and very good boiled beef. Good also the cake zuppa inglese. When you are in modena...you have to pass by and try their good!More

To be careful with the small details: if a costumer ask for 0.5 l of wine should receive the right information and then right to choose. It is not aceptable to be served a bottle containing 0.375 l of wine without explanations and a charge...as 0.5l..It is a pitty because the food is excellent.. The waiter did not apologize and even did not greet as farewell..More

I've been to this very nice and rather quiet restaurant a couple of times with friends, for lunch. The decor is traditional and the food is excellent. The waiters were been friendly and helpful each time. Very well located near the Duomo. A very comfortable...place and I will definitely make a return visit.More
