What an incredible experience. We came here in July and orderered around 10 dishes and wine, and the bill was less that 40 Euros! The most gorgeous, tucked away, authentic, delicious dishes all bursting with flavours. We travelled all over Italy for over three weeks...and went to 4 michilin star restaurants, and this was our top 3 favourite, and we will recommend this place to anyone we know travelling to this part of Italy. Traditional in everything, food, service, interior. A true Italian experience, not the first nor the last visit for us. A good advice is to come hungry because you are going to want to try everything.

The place is not big and it is difficult to eat here without a reservation. This is because is a part of the food history of Modena. Tortellini outstanding and very good boiled beef. Good also the cake zuppa inglese. When you are in modena...you have to pass by and try their good!More

To be careful with the small details: if a costumer ask for 0.5 l of wine should receive the right information and then right to choose. It is not aceptable to be served a bottle containing 0.375 l of wine without explanations and a charge...as 0.5l..It is a pitty because the food is excellent.. The waiter did not apologize and even did not greet as farewell..More

...great find by chance walking around the 'centro storico'.....a fine local menu....excellent food in a traditional setting....our waiter an absolute delight taking the time to advise on choices...would love to return....

I've been to this very nice and rather quiet restaurant a couple of times with friends, for lunch. The decor is traditional and the food is excellent.
